There are not many places here in Orofino to take you wife for dinner. Honsetly,there just is much here at all. However, The Edge is one of best places in our small community to get a really good plank Salmon or Rib Eye Steak dinner. Brenda, our sever, is kind and friendly in a down home way.She makes our dinning experience that much better with her kindness and professionalism. The Edge is right on the Clearwater River. In the summer you can enjoy out door dining and enjoy the sound of the river.It is beautiful. Unfortunately, The Edge is changing ownership. They will be closing the restaurant.April 4th is the last day you'll be able enjoy dinner at The Edge as they are remodeling. Hopefully it will be open again this summer. Hopefully Brenda will be part of the new Edge restaurant.

Took a large family group to dinner after a sports event, waited several minutes for someone to seat us. Waitstaff was visibly frustrated about our group being there (10 people). Chose this venue based off of their webpage menu pricing, which was completely different from their actual pricing and menu selection. Food either lacked flavor in some dishes or was so over salted that it was almost inedible. Definitely will not be going back.

I was doing a cross country bike tour, and was staying next door. The food was excellent, service was prompt and it was just a really relaxing place to have dinner. 5 Stars!
This place looked beautiful, however, I entered the restaurant 1 hour before the closing time according to Google. Once I got in the host immediatly let us know that they were closing early and we would have to order quickly and not plan on staying for too long. I would have loved to try this place but I didn't wanted to feel pressured to leave so I decided to go somewhere else. I will update the review once I give this place another try.

The atmosphere was a little awkward at first but our server and hostess were so sweet and helpful. The view on the deck is absolutely stunning, and the food was amazing!! I have never wanted to order more food in my entire life and their desserts are just the same! Overall it's truly an amazing place, I cannot wait to go again!

We loved everything about our dining experience. The food was the best! My husband had the open faced seafood sandwich and I had the oriental chicken Flatbread. Brenda took very good care of us. She is an absolute gem! We will definitely be back!
