Probably the worst McDonald's I've ever been to, horrible service and at times the food just gets thrown away because it's so poorly made. Sandpoint needs a better McDonald's.

Waited 20 minutes after being greeted at the ordering speaker in drive. Seeing three customers get their order taken that showed up after me and a truck stuck behind me It’s not very busy right then. Ended up pulling forward giving benefit of the doubt to the workers maybe their machine was faulty. Came to find out they’re just blatantly ignoring their second drive thru completely. Then we had to wait an additional 30 minutes for our food, which was only partially correct. Two happy meals, two burgers. I work in fast food, I get that it can be overwhelming but very sad to see how down hill this store has gone over the years.

We used to come here often to indulge in an apple pie. Unfortunately, over the past few months, the pies have been out of stock more often than not, no matter what time of day we come by. Today was the final straw for us as they finally had pies, but when we were driving home, we realized that they were frozen. Who serves a stone cold pie? Apparently, Ponderay McDonald's.
Please work on that.

Northern Home Inspection
The food has become consistently worse every visit. The employees are very nice from my experience.
I wouldn’t even give the place 1 star but unfortunately have no choice. We ordered our food in the drive thru, pulled up to the first window and the window itself is tinted so couldn’t see inside but waited a good 3-4 minutes with nobody coming to take our payment. Finally just pulled up to the second window and handed our card over to pay saying hey nobody came so can we just pay here and the lady looked immediately confused. She ran and got who we think was maybe a shift manager and was met with intense hostility on why we didn’t pay at the first window. I don’t know if he thought we were trying to steal but he started raising his voice and questioning us on why we didn’t pay at the first window. We said nobody ever opened it and he goes “that’s not what I’m hearing”. It was so awkward and rude and we will be following up with the general manager. This employee needs to be fired as this was so hostile and uncalled for. It appears a lot of people from the reviews have had horrid experience with these employees.

Had a horse trailer and lobby was closed so got yelled at to get out of their drive thru on foot. A nice customer in line offered to order our food for us so we were standing talking to them while they were in line. The same employee walked outside and starts screaming at us again while smoking a vape . Extremely unprofessional.

Only eat here in an emergency. I try to eat healthy non processed food. And well.....anyone who thinks McDonalds is health food needs a couple of classes in nutritional eating. No offense to the stoners and little children. I loved this place when I was 10. Now, I'm 60 and need/ want healthy food.
