We stayed in the Best Western Plus next door. It was very convenient for our stay. The food was good, service was good, drinks were good, and the wait was long. Seemed to be a popular spot.
I recommend stopping in for a solid meal.
This place has gone downhill
Always have a good time at sweet Lou's. Definitely recommend it to anyone visiting.
Bad customers who will talk back, 30+ wait, tiny sizes for large amount of money. 6oz lobster 6oz steak for $50.
After living in Chicago for a few years, Sweet Lou's in Ponderay, ID has the closest to authentic Italian beef sandwich I've found.
Great food and great service. I got the Bison ribs and they were amazing. I never leave reviews on places, but I highly recommend those ribs. The rest of the food and service was also great
Fast service and great food
Well it started off with pretty slow service. We ordered the Tailgate egg rolls to start which were very good, but again, it took a while to get our meals. My girlfriend ordered the steak sandwich medium rare and it wasn't terrible, but the steak was pretty much raw in the center and very chewy. I on the other hand ordered the mushroom swiss burger and it came out with no mushrooms and was very bland. Sent it back and received a 2nd one that ended up being completely raw dripping blood and again was very bland. Both of our french fries were very stale and almost cold. The manager came out and took the burger off the bill and I elected to not order anything else. Our waitress was very kind.

Service is very friendly but slow. They are a very busy place and could use more help (like everywhere). They filet was worth it!!! And fish tacos.
