It is a bit loud in this place.
I had fish and chips, the fish was delicious.
Prices are reasonable.

October 2nd, 2025 - Salads didn't arrive until after the main entree arrived. Wife ordered the sirloin with two sides, and I ordered the sirloin with prawn skewer. Wife's steak was so tuff she couldn't finish the first bite and ended up spitting it out in her napkin. My sirloin wasn't much better. The server offered to replace hers with some prawns, which she agreed too. The prawns were so mega salty that neither of us finished them either. Suppose if we both drank, the food wouldn't have seemed so bad....the strawberry lemonade was pretty good.

There is usually a wait if you go at usual dinner time, but food is always worth it. Always.

The food was ok. Didn't like the fact no one washed there hands after touching food. Employee's picking there noses and not washing hands after words. Also one employee was spitting in the garbage can right next to food. The bathroom's where dirty.

Loved this place, will go again. I had the triple bacon burger, super juicy with an Angus beef patty that melted in your mouth!

When you spend $85.00 and you order a bake potato and it comes with a tiny scoop of butter mixture that is enough to cover a dime!!! You have a dry potato and your server never returns to check on you, so you can request more!!! The prawns you order are so salty you can’t even taste the prawns!!! My guy did enjoyed his steak! Our server Maggie began with a positive attitude, but when no drinks are ordered attitude shifted. She kept trying to sell us a dessert. I have been a server and I know the more you sell the bigger the tip!!! But I also know TIPS are earned and should not be expected!!!

Amazing flavor and good quantity of food. Staff was friendly and personable. We were visiting for the day and ended up going there twice.

What an active, busy place this is, and it is popular with both locals and the tourists that wander in. It was recommended to us, and happened to be out in front of our overnight lodging place (convenient!). Our server was very attentive, the food was very good, and we were glad we went. I tried a huckleberry mojito that had us searching grocery stores and gift shops for 2 days before finding some so we could make the drink at home. If we return to Sandpoint/Ponderay, we would eat here again!

We stayed in the Best Western Plus next door. It was very convenient for our stay. The food was good, service was good, drinks were good, and the wait was long. Seemed to be a popular spot.

I recommend stopping in for a solid meal.

This place has gone downhill

Always have a good time at sweet Lou's. Definitely recommend it to anyone visiting.

Bad customers who will talk back, 30+ wait, tiny sizes for large amount of money. 6oz lobster 6oz steak for $50.
