Outstanding Community Support from El Ranchero and Owner Juan

We would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to El Ranchero and its owner, Juan, for their extraordinary generosity and support of the Post Falls JV Trojans football team. Juan graciously donated a full meal to feed all 60 of our student-athletes, an act of kindness that truly exemplifies what it means to be a community partner.

The quality of the food was exceptional, and the care and effort put into preparing such a large donation did not go unnoticed. More importantly, this gesture had a meaningful impact on our team—boosting morale, fostering camaraderie, and reminding our players that their community stands behind them.

Juan’s commitment to giving back is a shining example of leadership and compassion. We are incredibly grateful for his support and proud to have a local business like El Ranchero that invests in the well-being of our youth. Thank you, Juan, for your generosity and for making a difference in the lives of our players.

Thank you El Ranchero and Juan for everything!!

Didn't actually eat here but my vehicle broke down in front the day before the fourth of July and the people were very nice nd understanding and the day after the fourth of July I was able to get help moving my vehicle. Happy I didn't get towed. Thank you!

No queso on the menu was our first red flag. They did bring out plenty of chips and salsa—but didn’t bother with waters, which seemed like a basic oversight. When the food finally arrived, the quality was disappointing at best—I’d honestly compare it to Taco Bell. If you’re in the area and craving Mexican food, skip this spot and head to Chipotle instead. You’ll leave a lot more satisfied.

Unlike JAMES WOOD making his nasty review. EL RANCHERO is a staple of Post Falls!!

Juan represents leadership, hard work and determination in his restaurant. He is hard working, not stop determination on his dreams that he is fulfilling and strifes an environment that has amazing food, great setting and fantastic customer service.

His staff present a caliber of service and hospitality in which a lot of restaurants do not value or exemplify this notion.

The food is delicious, full of flavor as well, it represents to the palate the Mexican culture. You can go to Mexico or you can make a stop here. Fantastic cocktails and beer. You’ll sink to your chair with the Carne Asada Platter and Mexican beer!

If you haven’t been here this is the place to go. The Best Mexican food in all of Coeur d Alene, Rathdrum, Hayden and Post Falls.

To El Ranchero family for making the experience unforgettable over the years of coming in as a patron, Thank you!!

Had a great meal today as I have been going there for four years. Today I ask for a box and two small salsas and Edith sent word with/ her other waitress that I could only have one. For four years I have never been charged extra for two salsas. When I approached Edith she said I don't have time for this in a very hateful voice and walked away. So as I was leaving I walked over to say goodbye to my friends and she followed me over and told me that I was not going to involve her customers, I said these are my friends and you doesn't get to tell me who I can talk to. If owner wants his waitresses to treat customers like this I feel sorry for his business. Very sad!!

Today got treated very badly by Edith the owners sister I tryed to ask her a question and she replied I don't have time for this and walked away. That doesn't seen to be a way to address an unhappy customer. That restaurant is headed down hill I my opinion.

Ground beef crunchy tacos where a little to salty but good flavor, the chicken tacos where better.
We will be back to try their handcrafted homemade chile rellenos. The chips were the thin typ and freshly cooked really good, the salsa was very good as well
The service was super.
I'm hoping we have finally found our go to Mexican restaurant. Will be back soon
