Nina is amazing 🤩
Just eat $30 in cash. It will taste better and at least you'll get better use of your money.
No sauces after waiting in the drive through for 30+ minutes
I tried Houston Hot Chicken at a Spokane location last year and wasn’t blown away. Granted, it was partly my fault since I got the loaded fries and didn’t ask if there were pickles in the mix. Needless to say, there were and they were everywhere; I hate pickles. However, I decided to give the chain one more try at this new location, going in and taking a different direction, choosing the Southwest Salad and the Chicken Tortilla soup. I’ll just say that sometimes, second chances are worth it.
Both were beyond delicious. I was especially impressed with the soup. Soup from a fast food chain is usually just reheated, watered-down slop. However, as Chicken Tortilla is my favorite variety, I had to give it a whirl and it was beyond amazing! Seasoned well, rich, with a good amount of chicken, veggies, and tortilla strips in it. Is it the best tortilla soup ever? No, homemade is always preferable and many sit-down joints do it better, but for a fast-service chain, this could be the best soup I’ve ever had — period. I will enjoy it again, especially when the weather cools or I’m feeling ill. Highly recommended.
The salad was solid too. They actually give you a sizable amount of chicken. The dressing that accompanies it pairs well, and the lettuce was fresh. It wasn’t ornate, but when the chicken is cooked and spiced well, you want it to shine and it did! A good mix of everything and served attractively.
The service was friendly, the place was spotless, and the food came out promptly. I dropped one star from atmosphere just because it’s that same built-from-a-box style of construction that everything is going towards these days; you can’t match the feel of an archaic Mexican restaurant from the eighties. Still, what truly mattered was spot-on and I will frequent the establishment again.
Amazing! Got my husband the hottest sandwhich and he suffered with joy. They make you sign a waver for the spice level and give you gloves 😂 my husband is never impressed with “spicy” foods and he was uncomfortable. Lol the food is so fresh. Better than going to a sit down restaurant! Also something for everyone even out kids.

Great food, great staff!!
I was very curious what chicken and waffles was all about... and oh my, it is phenomenal! Ordered a bunch of food for the family: nuggets, strips, sandwiches, and fries. Everything was delicious 😋. The house sauce is a sweet and spicy heavenly combo. We will definitely be back!

Decent chicken, overpriced
It was alright if you've had chicken shanty it's about the same thing but with a little more spice overall it's ok!
Good chicken sandwich. Lives up to the name. The “spicy” was enough for me.
Awesome staff, great food and fast to get it out.
Went to the grand opening and did the challenge... I died... Best experience ever 10/10 would eat this chicken even if it killed me
