The parking lot is big & plenty of individual seats & tables/chairs. I would say it's a coffee ☕️ shop w/pastries that has books but I wouldn't go there to read bc it was pretty loud inside. If your expecting a library experience it isnt that. I had a mocha & pan au chocolate 🍫.

The owners have spared no expense on beautiful chandeliers, gorgeous wallpaper, gleaming brass fixtures, and luxurious upholstery. This restaurant/coffee house/bookstore/gift shop goes above and beyond the ordinary!

Hands down my favorite bookstore! The atmosphere is incredibly cozy, perfect for getting lost in a new book. Beyond the great selection, their cafe is outstanding; the breakfast board is a must-try, and The Grinder is easily my favorite sandwich in town. Don't skip the gift section either—they have a curated selection of unique finds!

A little new age plot in the middle of a conservative bubble. Painfully so, I must say. First book I picked up celebrated the life of Lenin (the mass murder to be clear), second book was on gay marriage in Christianity. So yeah, if that’s your vibe you’ll love it here.
Kindred & Co. in Post Falls has been a great place since the day they opened, and I have been visiting even more frequently since starting school. It has become one of my favorite study spots because it is the perfect place to fuel my body and my brain at the same time. The atmosphere is incredibly calming, with plenty of comfortable seating, beautiful decor, and a peaceful vibe that makes it easy to focus. Their food and bakery items are amazing, the book selection is such a fun touch, and the staff is always kind and helpful. I also appreciate the free WiFi and how easy it is to settle in and get work done.
My only downside is the coffee. No matter what I order, the drinks tend to taste pretty similar. They often taste a little burnt and the flavors are very faint. I have tried extra flavoring, more milk, different ratios, and different shots, but I still have not found the sweet spot. I really want to love their coffee as much as I love everything else.
Overall, Kindred & Co. is a wonderful place to spend time, study, relax, and enjoy good food. If the coffee improved, it would be absolutely perfect.

Great service,I love to see homemade soup on the menu. The minestrone was delishous. Served with sourdough roll. Perfect combination.The latte was delicious and served in a nice big mug.
