Their carne asada tacos AND their green sauce are THE BEST around and I think I've tried all the tacos in the area.

My fiancé had the shrimp tacos and that’s all she has ate that day and got food poisoning from the shrimp tacos that’s kind of concerning!

We ate in at Ricardo’s Baja tacos and had a great experience. The environment was very clean and pleasant, the food was yummy. The young lady who helped us was friendly and made some recommendations. The food did take longer than I expected, especially considering we were the only customers in the restaurant most the time. The children’s meal portions seem smaller than other restaurants. Overall we had a good experience and will be back again!

We have been searching for a good Mexican place and think we found our spot.✅️ Made to order salsa based on our personal spicy level✅️ Good prices✅️ Filling✅️ Food wasn't greasy✅️ Good flavor✅️ The salsa was awesommmmme with our chips n salsa order✅️ Brings out green and red hot sauce with food✅️ FriendlyI was a little worried after reading some of the bad reviews, but since it had 4.4 stars we decided to try it. Glad we did. We will be back.

I'm updating this review because this place has some issues. Ricardo is a great guy but isn't representing the way he used to, he offen isn't there. The guy with the glasses working the counter now days has zero personality acts like he doesn't care seems unkept doesn't acknowledge you as you come in, never says thanks or anything at all really. I'd never have him in the front being the face of this place. Something tells me this review won't even be looked at by the owner but if he wants to mak3 it in a small town you mite change it up.

What is with these places in Northern Idaho claiming to be authentic Baja Mexican style food and they are the farthest thing from it?There were so many issues with this place, where do I begin?1. No guacamoleYou're an authentic Baja taco place with no guacamole?2. Gave up immediately and ordered the carne asada burrito.Despite being advertised there was no pico de gallo, nor beans (Not that that's exactly an authentic style carne asada burrito). They should just call it a rice burrito with a little bit of sour cream and meat. The flour tortilla wasn't even cooked, It was warm. I was wondering did they nuke it? They surely did not put it on the grill.I did order a fish taco just to see how it tasted. It was the tiniest piece of some fish that didn't look fully cooked; definitely had a translucent vibe And on top was this weird green mixture of lettuce? With some sort of green sauce in it? And it was disgusting. The burrito was pretty big And they gave me one little tiny red sauce and one little tiny green sauce. I'm talking about half the size of a shot glass. When I asked for more they wanted to charge me money for sauces which I paid for. When I opened one of the Red sauces it was like overly thick and dry.Never going back to this sorry excuse for a Mexican place.I had to ask two times for a to go cup as well. I said it was to go and then I got pointed over to the plastic cup section.Jeeeesh.
