My husband and I were looking forward to going to a local restaurant and hoping for some yummy food. Sadly, I was very disappointed. The server was "busy busy" while only taking care of one 8 top, that was wrapping up, our table and one other couple. After we were seated it took about 15 to 20 minutes before our waiter checked in, got a drink order, came back with our drinks and then told us he had to finish the 8 top. Okay....Decided to order the "ladies" cut ribeye, asked for medium, not sure what I was given, but it was super thin and definitely well done, tasted so bland that I couldn't finish it. I have had my fair share of steaks and this is by far one of the worst restaurant steaks I have had, and would be pretty aweful if it was homemade. The best part of the meal was the asparagus and soup. The waiter never really checked on us again but I did over hear him talking about needing a break and stepping outside while still in the dining area. I get the impression that maybe he was aware that the food is mediocre and didn't want to acknowledge it. I hope there can be change, until then a frozen hungry man dinner would have probably been more satisfying.
This was the first and last time my wife and I dine here. Literally thee worst and most overpriced food I’ve had possibly ever! The waitress was kind and the salad was good. That’s where it ended. Steak was not seasoned. Brussel sprouts were burnt so badly they crushed like ash. Neither of us tried them but the smell literally made us nauseous. Bread was hard as a rock and completely dried out. We spent an hour and 39 minutes waiting on food to come. Take my advice please! Steer clear of this place. Also it smelled like an ashtray in the bar area.
2 stars is for the nice waitress. Otherwise my review would be a 1. To start with, food service was incredibly slow and the place still smells like cigarette smoke, probably from when it was a bar. The stuffed mushrooms and salads were okay, but my husband’s steak was under cooked and the Au graten potatoes were undercooked as well. The side dish they serve as standard is blackened fried Brussels sprout leafs. Inedible. Overpriced and my husband and I didn’t eat half of our meal. I’d go somewhere else.
My husband and I came to Teton House last week for his birthday. We were really excited because the last time we had been here was about an year ago, and the food was great! Oh, if we had only known. This go around was ridiculous. We had a reservation, got in quickly, ordered promptly, but waited for our food for OVER and hour and a half. We had ordered an appetizer too, not thinking that we’d be waiting too long for dinner, but we never received it. The whole restaurant was extremely short staffed, which we understood and cut the servers some slack. Although, the head chef was supposedly out as well and whoever the replacement was not up to par. My husband ordered the Wagyu steak... he got something the resembled a smashed NY strip. Everything we ordered was barely warm, and had no flavor either. We watched so many tables come in, and leave with their food only to be presented over an hour later with something that didn’t even look like what we ordered. On top of all of this disappointment, the cook was yelling from the kitchen all evening at the servers. Yes, I understand hearing him a few times, but at this point, it was us and one other table in the main dining room. There had only been two servers in our section anyway. Others around us had made comments about how unnecessary his tone was. After a $75 meal of mush, including the appetizer that we did not ever receive, we are obviously very upset to see this place go down hill. Don’t think we will be trying our luck here again, especially not on a special occasion.
Great service in a clean and inviting atmosphere. Food was good and the portions were generous! Our two toddlers split a chicken strip kids meal and it was way more than enough food! The whole family took home leftovers and we don’t have to worry about what to make for lunch tomorrow! Will definitely be going again!
My server Christina was nice, pleasant and always had a smile. I went in during a slow period and was seated fast. My food was not delayed either. I ordered stuffed mushrooms, salad, and flat iron steak. The food was much better than Denny's but not spectacular. I don't think the pricing is in line with what it coming out of the kitchen here. I'll come back and try a sandwich or a lower priced menu item next time, but this is not a premo steak house. I could do better on my grill at home with some garlic salt and wood chips.
Service was very good. We had an Old Fashioned and Spiced Rum cocktails that were well mixed. We had sausage stuffed mushroom apitizers that were really tasty. I also had a cup of the tomato basil soup, which was delicious. The main course was prime rib, fully loaded baked potato, and asparagus. The meat was perfectly cooked, as were the potatoes. The asparagus was over salted, but server Christina brought out more, which was perfect. Ambiance was a bit dated, but average for a steakhouse. Table, glasses, and cutlery were clean, bathrooms are dated but clean. The most noticable thing was that the carpets badly need to be cleaned or replaced. All in all though, it was a good experience.
Went for the first time last night for our anniversary. While the inside and decor aren't much to look at, the food certainly made up for the lack of visual identity. Steaks cooked perfectly with an amazing smokey flavor and those sprout petals are out of this world! Service was a little slow getting the check but they were busy and seemed understaffed so servers were doing their best. Will definitely go back.
Very nice clean restaurant. The food is excellent. The wait staff are very friendly and helpful. Could use some background music.
The food was great. Our server Christina (Terri) was very friendly. The homemade cheese cake is so delicious. Over all enjoyable. will come back!

waitress was nice but food was sub-par.
I know it's hard times for everybody in the food service industry, this is not our first bad experience here or even our second. I've probably left a review before and I definitely believe in giving a local business a second shot. However, after being talked to rudely over the phone like we were a nuisance, even though there was only a 10-minute wait for our food to be cooked. I did a pickup order and spent $75 including my 20% tip and this is how my $40 steak gets received. Maybe businesses like this shouldn't exist, and regardless of circumstance this is the last time we will go here.
We had such a great experience here tonight! The food was amazing and the servings were so large we had left overs! The staff is super friendly, attentive and professional. Christina was our server and she was amazing! I would recommend Teton House to all my friends and family. We will be back for sure!
So far weve been here 30 mins. Hostess took our drink order. A water soda and cup of coffee. The soda made it to the table no water. Cup of coffee was cold. Just got the hostess to go warm it up. No one has stopped to take our order. 4th table to be seated. First time here so far I'm not impressed. I understand a business being short staffed during this time of the pandemic but seriously this is the slowest place ever. I'll give it a star review if we ever get to order. be patient very patient. The food is worth the wait
Really good super speedy but worth it. Brussel sprouts were salty but definitely will go back
