Wonderful local eatery with delish menu. I had the Reuben and side salad and it was great. The rubber was tasty with a balanced tangy Kraut and rye. The side salad was freshly washed and cut withplenty of toppings. The breakfasts that came out to other patrons looked wonderful and were being happily enjoyed.
I had a steak and a dinner salad. The steak was cooked, perfectly medium to my order. The salad had all kinds of extras like olives and mushrooms to make it quite indicating. My friend had a Reuben sandwich with onion rings. The onion rings were huge and perfectly cooked and the Reubenwas delicious. The service was extremely efficient and very friendly. Comfortable atmosphere. Can’t get much better than that.
We've eaten here a few times, it's far better than the other restaurants in town. We would compare it to Hoot Owl in Sandpoint, but smaller and higher quality food. It's a small quiet place with great food. Portions are good. Food was presented well. Clean. Nice staff/owner. We've eaten at Hoot Owl, for breakfast, for nearly 6 years, but this place is our new favorite, less busy, and much more quiet. Avoid the tourists in Sandpoint. We will be back for sure!
