So far ive tried two different ramen options from the menu. The soy and garlic. It was the most disgusting thing I've ever put in my mouth. I'm not a picky eater either. I've lived in Japan for years and have had real authentic ramen from Tokyo. This restaurant is an insult to Asian culture. I can't even begin to describe just how revolting the ramen at this place was. Like how do you manage to make something with no flavor yet only bitter aftertaste. Imagine smg but instead of triggering the savory receptors, it stimulates anger.

My whole family (1yo, 3yo, 26yo) kids wife and myself LOVED the food. We shared plate of Gyoza (pot stickers) the new chicken they have and a bowl each of Miso and Shoyu ramen. It was a surprise for our sometimes picky daughter to ask over and over for more noodles. She also liked watching Dragon Ball Z for the first time. It was a great family experience for us.

I really enjoy this spot; it has great food and a really nice atmosphere. We came here on a Friday night and it was busy, so yes our food took a little longer than expected. The wait was worth it though and the food was fantastic as usual.

I was searching for a good lunch spot because I was starving when I happily stumbled across Banzai Ramen. Honestly, it’s some of the best ramen you can find in Idaho. And they Evan had a 10 percent off coupon I’ve honestly been everywhere looking for decent ramen and have often been disappointed, but Banzai definitely fits the bill if you’re looking for delicious ramen .

Servings are huge! I can never finish my bowl. The spicy ramen is soooo good, spicy enough to make me sweat a little but not so much that I have to stop eating. Great food, fun atmosphere:) Quick service. Their fried gyoza is really good too.

The first time I went the texture of the pork was a bit off-putting, weirdly spongy, but it's been fine and super yummy ever since then! Highly recommend. Great place to go alone or with friends. Prices are good for the amount and quality of the food.

Cost about 13 bucks for our plates of ramen. Didn't have high hopes for place since rating was pretty low. Not a lot of seating but the food was awesome. The gentleman who took our order was kind and gave some recommendations. Would come here again for sure, ramen is pretty good. If your looking an Asian food nearby campus this is one of them.

Awful state of eggs. They do not look like eggs..fresh eggs are usually white with bright yellow yolks. These ones looked discolored with nasty yolks. I threw them away. I did not see any Asian working here. I am from where we have a LOT of noodle eateries and know what a bowl of noodles is supposed to have.

Bonzai Ramen in Rexburg is a bit hit or miss. The gyoza is really good—crispy, tasty, and definitely worth ordering. But the ramen is just okay. The broth doesn’t have much flavor, and the noodles are pretty average. If you're looking for great ramen, this might not be the place.
However, the rice bowls are much better. They’re flavorful, filling, and a better choice than the ramen. If you want a good meal, I’d say go for the rice bowl instead. The restaurant itself has a fun and relaxed vibe, making it a great spot to grab a casual meal with friends or family. It’s also very clean, which adds to the overall positive experience. The workers are super nice and always willing to help with recommendations or answer any questions about the menu. They make you feel welcome and are quick to assist, which adds to the friendly atmosphere. Whether you’re dining in or grabbing something to-go, the staff’s helpfulness really stands out. Overall, Bonzai Ramen has a good vibe and friendly service, though the food could be hit or miss depending on what you order.

Came from Idaho falls to try this place (we LOVE Hokkaido in Idaho falls) so we couldn’t wait to try this place. The wait time was an hour, with only 2 orders ahead of us. The egg on my ramen was so salty I couldn’t even finish it. My broth wasn’t good at all, we also got a rice bowl and the rice tasted sour and the chicken was dry AF. Sadly we will never return here ?

The takoyaki was fine, but the ramen on the other hand… it was wasn’t just bad. It was disgusting. I was so looking forward to this restaurant, but this just isn’t it. Waste of money.

We tried the shoyu Ramen, the Spicy Miso Ramen, and the Gyoza. All very good. The portions are generous, the toppings on the ramen are flavorful, especially their soft boiled eggs. The broth in the Spicy Miso Ramen is very rich and delicious, and it was a good level of spice. The broth in the shoyu ramen was a little bland but still good. And the Gyoza was amazing the right level of crisp and the sauce paired nicely with it. The workers were very nice and helpful, and the food came out pretty quickly.

This place is definitely underrated and should be getting more attention.

I had the garlic tonkatsu ramen. The portions were extremely generous and I only managed to eat about half of the bowl. Unfortunately, the broth was pretty bland, so that affected the whole dish. The toppings were great but once they're gone, the broth and noodles aren't really worthwhile. Kind of disappointing, but not bad.
