Got charged $5 extra for beans in a burrito when it’s supposed to come with it
Really disappointed. I’ve been going to Costa Vida in Rexburg for years and used to love it. For the last bit (about a month) they have been skimping on meat, beans, rice, and cheese. (Yes everything) Eating here has gone from feeling full with plenty of leftovers to being able to count on one hand the small pieces of meat on my meal. I’ve had employees a couple of times put a small amount of meat and then remove half of it leaving a minuscule amount. Won’t be eating here anymore. It’s a waste of money.

I’ve been there twice now, and both times as they were making the order took some off my plate because they said the portion was “too big.” I went from having five pieces of steak to three. The food itself is great, but it’s disappointing to see them cutting back like this. When you’re paying $12 for a meal, you expect a regular portion—not a kid-sized one. if you read the comments, this has happened to a lot of people lately.
