Our new favorite chinese restaurant! Steamed buns are so good! Authentic, clean, nice hosts. Besides the steamed buns we had black pepper chicken and lemon chicken. Big portions for price. Unique menu items that you don't see at other comparable places. They are saying they are closing at the end of this year. Please don't let this happen! What a treasure.

So delicious! The amount of food you get is definitely worth the price. It's at least two generous servings--three conservative ones per meal. So sad to hear it's closing, because it's me and my fiancés new favorite hidden gem. Their pork chow mein beats Panda Express any day.

I am saddened to learn that Fong;s is going out of business. This is one of my favorite places, not only for the food but for the generous service. Okay where do we do begin. This was NASTY! The chow mein was just onions and crispy noodles covered in discharge looking sauce. The orange chicken what just chicken nuggets with weird sauce. Oh and it was crazy expensive! Do not eat here!!!

One of a kind experience... I don’t necessarily mean that in a good way. We were told there was a 20 minute wait but there were only 2 people inside. It looks like it’s abandoned inside and we we were served on paper plates and our drinks were served in foam soup bowls. The food was... interesting to say the least. The fried rice was not fried and the chow main had so much celery it was worse than a celery juice cleanse. I mean all of this in the nicest way possible, I’m sure they are struggling through the virus. This was just our experience and they are trying to sell everything inside, maybe if I come again I will just buy some of the 50cent fine China that they are selling so I can eat my $13 meal off of a normal dish. The egg drop soup really slapped though✨

Fong's is one of my all time favorite restaurants.Full disclosure: I grew up here and there is no doubt that nostalgia plays a significant role, but I have spent my adult life trying to find a Chinese restaurant that scratches the same itch that Fong's does and I have never been able to find a satisfactory substitute.I've spent my life ordering Sweet and Sour Chicken or Lemon Chicken off of the lunch menu and that's what I heartily recommend.I make a point out of eating here pretty much every time I pass through Rexburg.It is what it is, I won't try to pretend otherwise, but in terms of Americanized Chinese food this is my absolute favorite. I have yet to find ANYthing else that even comes close to filling Fong's' shoes...

They give you a lot of food but the quality isn't that great. Maybe it's acceptable for Idaho standards? Students get a discount I believe. It was disappointing paying $13 for really dry fried rice and rock-hard egg rolls.

Whenever I have company visit over a meal time, Fong's is top on our list for oriental eating, and we've never been disappointed. Their Manchurian beef was just a little hot, but was very tasty.
