We have been living in Rexburg since April and have been trying all the different restaurants. Tonight my husband and I tried Fresco for the first time not knowing what to expect. We could not have been more pleased with our experience.

We were quickly seated and the waitress Anastasia was at our table within 3 minutes to greet us an introduce herself. She told us about the specials and her favorite items from the menu. We didn't even have to wait long for our drinks.

When it came time to order my husband knew what he wanted however, I had to many choices and was greatly undecided. I asked the waitress to have the chef surprise me with anything he desired to make.

The food was delicious. ? We started our meal with Spinach Artichoke Dip- Husband had the steak, mashed potatoes, green beans, and a side house salad- I had the chef special which I believe was a butternut squash carbonara with the side house salad- then we had the s'mores skillet and a pumpkin cheese cake. (Of course we have a great amount of left overs.)

You can tell the chef take pride in what he makes. The food was all prepared from fresh ingredients and made from scratch. Everything arrived in a timely manner, was hot, and every so delicious. We will definitely be coming back and will recommend this place.

This restaurant was added to the top 3 of our favorites in town. If you have a chance to come here and have Anastasia as your server you will not be disappointed. She was by far the best server we have encountered on over 5 years now.

You can tell how much she take pride in her job. I wish there was a manager on shift who I could have talked to as I would have loved to praise the chef on duty tonight and our AMAZING server Anastasia! (Management team if you see this you have a golden gem of an employee in Anastasia and she should be recognized some how.)

Absolutely the best experience I’ve had in a restaurant in a very long time. Our server Anastasia was absolutely awesome! Very attentive and on top of the service. The food was amazing and very delicious. Oh and the dessert was delicious as well. Highly recommend.

Tried to have breakfast here. Was told to wait until a table was free. They anticipated 5 - 10 minutes. There were only about 1/3 of tables were occupied. So I asked why we had to wait. Hostess said the kitchen was behind. But there were 4 plates of food waiting to be delivered. Seemed like the kitchen was keeping up but wait staff was not. We asked if we could be seated and get a coffee while we waited. They sat us at the bar which seemed weird when there many, many tables unoccupied.

There were many staff looking after a small amount of customers. Super unorganized.

We did get our coffees (husband got a full cup and I got half a cup, because they ran out), but had to request cream and sugar again when it didn’t come as ordered. No menus given - we looked up the menu online on our phones. No attention to customer needs.

Sat at the bar for 15 to 20 minutes. Did get a refill on the coffee when more was finally ready. When we were ultimately seated in the dining area we asked for more coffee. They did bring us another cup of coffee each “in new cups”. We were told only one re-fill was included with the coffee. Honestly, at this point we didn’t want to support this business any longer. We asked for our bill. When it came they charged us over $12.00 for coffee (2 people). I did return these 2 “new” coffees and complained to the waitress and she reduced the bill.

Just my opinion on our experience today. Hopefully others will have a better experience.

We came in and nobody greeted us for like 10 minutes. The employees seemed worried and stressed but when we were finally sat down outside, the table was literally about to fall apart and the hostess didn’t say a single word to us. Eventually our server came out and was very energetic and took our orders but she didn’t come out to see us again until we finished and we had to go ask for napkins. Meh experience, food tasted nice tho

We were exited about this place . Looks fancy and expensive but just like other reviews mentioned.
We got our food cold and hardly any sauce on the Alfredo with 4 pieces of small chicken
The pepperoni pizza tasted burned
Lemonade was extremely sweet that give you headaches.
Silverware was pretty dirty and napkins smell funny .
For some reason food got us sick
I think needs a lot of work with the chef and the way that thing get done . Being first time and pretty disappointed. I hope they improve

*update*
I went again semi recently and had a much different experience. Their chicken sandwich with the spicy dipping sauce is great. Their pizzas are also really good. Doorza works through here and the “burg” is yummy. However the other dishes I’ve tried, I still feel the same about. Not planning on trying their dinner entrees anytime soon.

Honestly the worst tasting food I’ve ever paid for. The chicken alfredo and the chicken dinner should not cost as much as it does for what it is. The atmosphere and servers were great but it was just the food that was actually disgusting. The one good thing we ordered were the mashed potatoes as a side.

Sad. Pizza was not cooked enough. Yuck. Do not recommend. Update: contacted by the restaurant. They agreed it did not look right. Refunded our purchase. We will give them another try when in the area.

I had the Chicken Alfredo and was not impressed. It was the most bland meal, no flavor. My mom had the steak, and that was good.
I probably would not go back.
