there is not enough space here to write a review. It was just unspeakable and as we were leave the hostess thought it would be nice to be a coward to say under her breathe or not after saying have a nice night, people need to come together and make sure this place disappears.
We went here last night and I took some time before I wrote this review because I wanted to make sure I wrote a intentional review let’s start from the beginning we were seated and waited 25 minutes before being acknowledged and when we were it took another 10 minutes just to get drinks and another to get chips and another 5 minutes following to get dips all the while the same waitress brought the table next to us drinks twice and chips and dips twice. I wish I could end here but no.. then we ordered nachos the chips were soggy then when we said something THE OWNER proceeded to come over and argue that he ‘watched them come out of the oven’ I’m sure he did but the only oven he watched them come out of was a microwave cold beans, soggy chips and a single layer on a small plate for $13? Very disappointed I’m not done so buckle up… my husband ordered a burrito and the meat was definitely at one point canned or it was a very close sibling to canned that slimy, gross texture and wasn’t fresh by any means nothing was hot when the food came out.. warm though so it was a thought my poor father in law though his food was the worst with a tortilla with beef jerky inside I can only assume was supposed to be a taquito come over to my house cooks and I’ll show you how to make one.. after a hour and a half of being there luke warm food that truly didn’t have much flavor and service from owners that the customers are in the wrong? I WONT be returning
Amazing service & food at Gringos!!!! We loved it! Good value for your money also! Go eat here people!
Nice people, clean environment, but not worth the money. I went to Gringos tonight and was pretty disappointed. It was my first time and we went per my friends recommendation. The food is expensive and to me it tasted like the beans were straight from a can, sprinkled with cheese, and over seasoned with cumin?? The rice was also just disgusting.. I got a thing with steak on it and the meat was kind of fake tasting (maybe it is fake, I don’t know..) and the texture was so bad we just took the steak off and ate the fried pita bread with lettuce and tomatoes.. The server was nice but we never had our drinks refilled and waited a long time to get our check. It is a clean place and the staff was friendly but based on this experience and the quality of the food, I won’t be back.

They could never make me hate you, Gringos. The prices here have always been really good for the serving size. But most of all I love the combo fajita and the cream cheese and crab burritos. I just wish they’d add as much meat and sides as they used to add to the fajita, especially since the price is a little higher now.

This place was a disgrace! I asked for no rice just refried beans and it was brought with rice. I told the server that I didn’t want rice. She took it back and a few mins later she brought it back as if they didn’t just scrap the plate and just replaced it with beans. I told the server that I could tell they just scraped the plate and the owner came out and just felt the need to get in a HUGE DISPUTE! This place is a joke. The owner is a jerk and the food isn’t worth the money. The place is dirty and should practice cleaning walls and dusting. Makes you wonder about sanitation and health standards! WORST PLACE to go in Rexburg!!!!!
Schaigen is the best very kind and fast. Ben has served us before and he is also very great and he is amazing with my brother. Overall great service and food.

I want to start off by saying the workers there were great and friendly, but the food absolutely was not it. The salsa had no spice at all (I got the medium), the rice was hard and very bland, and the prices feel too high. They give you enough food to fill you up, but it doesn't really taste like you're eating anything.

We always loved Gringos. We have been going there since they opened. Not any more. The red sauce was thin brown and soupy, the tortilla was tough. We were told they kept the recipes from the past owner, but they said the sauce was gluten free. So that's different and it was awful. We left totally disappointed ? Complaints were ignored.
