Came in just before close planning to take our ice cream to go. The owner comes in at 9:59, one minute before they closed. And yelled at the employees for having the chairs stacked already. The owner was totally rude to his employees in front of customers. The employees were very kind to us even tho we came in right before close.

So we were the annoying people that walked in with 3 minutes to spare before close. The girls working had started closing jobs including putting chairs up which totally made sense to us. It was so close to closing time that we knew we wouldn’t be staying to eat our ice cream. All the other customers seemed to be considerate enough of that as well as they were sitting at the tables outside eating their ice cream. As we were finishing up ordering at approximately 9:59, the owner of G’s Dairy comes into the store and yells at the girls working “We aren’t closed yet, why are the chairs stacked up?” He was visibly angry and proceeded to unstack chairs at most of the tables…we were a group of four..You should be ashamed of yourself for treating your employees like this. We tried to help put chairs back up, but the girls insisted that we not help. The girls working were so nice and welcoming despite us coming in when we did. I feel bad for anyone who has to work here and deal with such a rude boss.

Found this gem thevother day, went round the drive-though, and was shocked at how huge the scoops are. Yes, I probably should not have eaten both at one time, but it was so good. The drive-through employee was nice, and we didn't have a long wait. We will definitely be back. Sigh.

It's good, but nothing special. Way too expensive for what you get yeesh. $2.50 for what, a tablespoon or two? You can get a whole half tub of ice cream at Walmart for that price and it tastes just the same.

They have really gone downhill. If you like the taste of corn syrup and dextrose, you will love g's ice cream! I spent $10 on a small ice cream that was tasteless. You can tell the tubs are microwaved and refrozen. How terrible! Decor is depressing, old, rusty. All of the dairy items in the fridge section and the shelf section is all junk food! They are not straightforward with their pricing either.
This is a very cozy local dairy that pays attention to flavor and range. Not only are there classic ice cream cones (including dairy free), but there are hot chocolates (of varying flavors), soda mixes, frozen treats, and even a nook where college students can get essentials. The staff are helpful and pleasant, the ambiance is really attractive, the bathrooms are some of the cleanest I’ve been in, but I think what sets G’s apart from other parlors is their portions. They are enormous! My husband and I got single waffle cones (Monster Cookie and Almond Fudge), and they’re as big as the double serving at other dairies! Super generous local ice cream joint that I think deserves more attention.
