LOVE the food, LOVE the prices, LOVE supporting a local business. However, the last 3 over the phone orders I have made, they have mixed up the only specific request I have made (which is really just a simple ask and makes a difference to me). I also have had missing items from orders that I even specifically asked for on multiple occasions. However, any time I have contacted them about these issues, they have offered me compensation, which I really respect and am grateful for.

Great food as always! Pleasant staff and we were compensated for our reasonable wait with an apology treat. Menu options are extensive and tasty with their signature sauces and style. Always a treat to come to kainoas.

Went here for the first time! I’ve never heard about this place until the date machine!! The date machine is located in the lounge of the women’s cedars! Get the katsu!! Super yummy!! And the Oni fries are to die for!!! So yummy!!! And the server was supper helpful!! Best Hawaiian food!!

I love this place. The Mac Salad is delicious and the wipeout plate was a fantastic way to find what my wife and I like the most. I have been many times and I constantly end up getting the wipeout plate just because everything is so good.

Wow, this was awesome!! I was sitting in my apartment and they just popped in with a meal and gave us some of the ono and Waikiki fries, and some spam sashimi and it was so good! Especially those ono fries! They have this delicious creamy tomatillo sauce that tastes honestly incredible. Also cool that they brought food to an apartment of poor college kids! I will definitely be going again!!

The prices are really good here for the amount of food you get! The workers were really friendly and helpful. And the food was delicious! Some of the best Hawaiian food I’ve had. Would highly recommend the Chicken Katsu
