1 star on everything. Found a finger nail in my mac! Also my katsu chicken was as soggy as a dog on a rainy day. Don't come here no point mo bettas just opened take your money there. Thank God for mo bettas
(REVISED) The portion are on the smaller size compared to other Hawaiian grill restaurants, their sauce isnt too impressive basically BBQ and Mayo mixed not all that great their spicey sauce does pack a punch, and the Mac salad was just mac salad nothing too crazy or notable. The Katsu chicken we ordered the first time around wasn't impressive however their teriyaki chicken was enjoyable, and the the rice is consistently good and sticky. The drive through was noticeably faster. I still think the kitchen could iron out a few things. both times I went it look like some people in the back weren't being too productive. It's not a terrible place I gave it another try per request of the owner and can say it was better the second time around.

Their loaded fries had no business being so good. Hit the spot. They were busy so the food took a while but it was worth it. Good job, guys.

When I ordered the Chicken Katsu wrap meal, I was hesitantly optimistic, but when they placed the small infnat sized burrito in front of me, I knew i was in for a good time. I've never had such an odd wrap, but it all completed each other so well, I was moved (perhaps not to tears, but certainly to eat more). I am eager to return, and once again get my moneys worth. If I were to give any critique, it would be that while the food is excellent, the atmosphere and decor inside is a little lackluster. Not offensive! Just lacking in pizzazz and identity. Overall, a wonderful surprise, and a very, very pleasant meal.

For decades i have absolutely hated Macaroni salad.Truly it was a battle for the ages as my parents tried to get me to stomach it.But this magnificent concoction they have created has turned me around on the subject. After 30 years of fighting. I tip my hat to Kainoa's Hawaiian Grill for getting me to really enjoy Mac salad.Buy their food. I also love their fried Spam. I crave it every few weeks.

Good music and employees. Not a fan of the pork, the chicken katsu was mediocre, and bulgogi beef was enjoyable enough but not as a full entree. Not good enough quality to go in my opinion.

Food is really good, honestly I'm just kinda upset the hours are wrong. I really love that place and thinking about their food got me through work today. On google maps it said it closes at 9:00 set by the business owner a few weeks ago so I trusted it, I showed up today at 8:31 and it was locked. Actual hours are 8:30. Honestly great food for a decent price, but man that was really disappointing, I would have just left work earlier if I knew.

The food is fantastic! The meat selection is great no matter what you try, as well as the sauces they include with them. One of my favorite menu options is the Kona Wrap. Customer Service is always so friendly! They welcome you with a smile every visit and make honest recommendations when asked about portion sizes, etc. Prices are affordable $-$$.Parking: A few designated parking spots for Kainoa's Customers only. A Drive-Thru window for food delivery and online orders only.

Wish I'd come here sooner! Fantastic value. Lots to try. Can't spell or pronounce what I had but it was a fried chicken taco with slaw and a sweet sauce of some kind.
They have really good portion sizes. This is also one of the only places my pregnant wife can eat without getting sick.

Meat was so soft and had good flavor (very impressed!), but I think this entré as a whole just didn't jive with me. When I come back I'll try the spam combo or a wrap, and that might be better. It reminded me of a cookout I attended hosted by a family from Guam (apologies, but that's the closest experience I have) so it seems authentic to me!

Food was mediocre. They need to learn how to make real hawaiian Mac salad. Chicken was like shit, basically. I'd never go back.

Just had lunch with my wife. Ha ing been to all the Islands I'm comparing too.I had the wireout to try everything, the macaroni salad was good, and rice is, well, rice. The Kalua pork was slightly dty and had the taste of a smoked pulled pork rather than island pork, the was excellent and cooked just right. The Bulgolgi beef was also very good, as was the Katsu and Misoy Chicken. The Chicken Kaisu was juzt so-so with the breading falling off. In the wipeout, there is most definitely enough to share between two.My wife ordered the regular fish and chios mainly because of the mango tarter sauce that sounded interesting to her. She said the fish was very good, as was the sauce. However, the waffle frys were overcooked and crispy throughout. She also ordered a Blair Storm smoothie and said it was very good, although she wished they provided bigger diameter straws for the smoothies.Although we live in Idaho Falls, we will come back again.
