They didn’t update their price. Handwriting receipt when pay cash. Charge for water and fortune cookies lol
This charming establishment feels a bit like a diamond in the rough. It's rather unassuming exterior houses an open interior with smatterings of traditional decor and the occasional Chinese pop song, as far I could tell at least. I was greeted by the lovely Lydia, who indulged my numerous questions and saw that I was well tended to. As per her recommendation, I ordered the Spicy Honey Chicken, which was, as near as I could tell, one of the most delicious chicken dishes I've ever had the pleasure to eat. The pork fried rice served alongside it was also quite tasty, but the chicken was the star of the show, with so much being given to me that I had to take some home in a small box (bear in mind that I am a rather small man in the sideways department, so this may not apply to all). I left feeling very happy, satisfied, and well taken care of. A very special thank you to the mysterious Chef who prepared my meal, and of course to the enchanting Lydia, who elevated the experience with her charm. Were I to offer one critique, it would be neither for the food nor the service, but to the ambience as a whole. If you read my other reviews, you know I am a heavy proponent of "going ham" when it comes to atmosphere. More traditional Chinese decor, more traditional music. I believe a restaurant visit should be a full sensory experience, and all aspects of it should invoke absolute immersion and tasteful satisfaction. That is all from me, thank you again, all who work at New Fong's, for the lovely experience. I will be sure to return!

Appetizers were decent. Main courses was flavorless and cheaply made. The waitresses were very kind and deserve to work for a better restaurant.

This is about the most average Chinese food place I've ever been. The food was average, the service was average as well. I got the orange chicken and it was just okay. I would recommend different places for Chinese food in Rexburg. Definitely not worth the price too.

I love New Fong's! There is such a beautiful and cozy atmosphere and the food is delicious! The service is great and the Fong family is super sweet. This would be a lovely place to go for a first date, a family outing, a birthday, you name it! My favorites are the Spicy Honey Chicken and the spring rolls! ;)

I love this place! Generous portions and the food always tastes good. Absolutely love the Chicken Almond Ding!I would like to see herbal tea options on the menu (The majority of people in Rexburg don't drink black or green tea). I would also like fried tofu as an option.
Vegetarian options: They do offer mixed veggies as an entree.
Dietary restrictions: Dairy-free options are plentiful.
