Update: Was the first customer in there this am. Male rep did an excellent job! My husband had a bad headache and he gave him tylenol. So grateful for his humanity! This place is inside the Ochoa mexican restaurant. The food was delicious and so is the customer service. The hortata is amazing!!

It takes a while to get the food at times but it’s never not been worth the wait. Best birria tacos I’ve had outside of LA/ Mexico. Very good.

UPDATE: Dang Taco Box is so easy to get to and see, so it's hard to drive past without stopping to eat. Oh, man, those red tacos are delicious. You gotta go.-------------------------------I wish a long time ago somebody had slapped me and asked, "Why haven't you tried Taco Box yet?" Because it took me until today to go there. We had a variety of food, and ended up bringing lots of leftovers home because, dang, there's like half a steer's worth of beef in each item. I kept taking a bite, then looking back at the menu prices, then taking another bite in confusion about how they offer such value. The birria is awesome--even if your tacos or quesadilla is already red. The only downside is that there's no picnic table nearby, so you gotta take it home. Pro tip: Madison Armory has some beautiful grass on the south side of the building. We parked over there and ate picnic-style. Sort of difficult given the sloppiness of red tacos and birria, but it was a beautiful evening and the grass was comfortable. Try a picnic! Or just take it home, because Taco Box food will definitely travel well. Highly recommended. Go slap your friend and ask why he hasn't tried Taco Box yet.
