Absolutely fantastic spot. The food was delicious and well priced. Love that tax was included with the price. Just be aware that there wasn't much indoor seating so you may need to eat outside if it's a busy day.

I don’t write reviews often, but my experience at The Mac Shack was so unbelievably bad, I feel obligated to warn others.
First of all, the food was a disaster. Bland doesn’t even begin to cover it no seasoning whatsoever. I ordered their signature mac and cheese expecting something rich, creamy, or at the very least, edible. Instead, I got a sad, runny mess with zero cheese flavor. How you mess up mac and cheese a comfort food staple is beyond me. It was so gross I ended up throwing it away after two bites. That’s money in the trash.
As for the interior, it looked like someone gave a 5-year-old a budget and said “build your dream restaurant.” It’s cheap, thrown together, and feels more like a glorified lemonade stand than an actual eatery. There’s no atmosphere, no thought, and certainly no charm.
The worst part? I came here because of the reviews. But after my visit, I’m convinced they’re fake or paid for, because they do not reflect reality in any way.
Bottom line: This was the worst food experience I’ve had in years. Save your appetite and your money go literally anywhere else.

We almost bailed on this restaurant twice. Once because there is ZERO signage. Second time because they were out of pulled pork. That said, very glad to gamble on this restaurant. I'm very picky on mac and on chicken. We had the Thai chicken and spicy mac (w/gn peppers). E.X.C E.L.L.E.N.T! Man, serious good eats. Many thanks!

The portion size for the price was great, and the staff was friendly and professional. However, the flavor was lacking, and unfortunately, we were disappointed. We ordered three large bowls, but ended up tossing most of them because no one could finish them. With more seasoning or flavorful sauce, I’m sure it could be a fantastic dish.

We scored a ginormous Childhood Memory Mac & Cheese for lunch today, a total steal at eight bucks! It was ridiculously yummy, especially with those all-beef hotdog pieces. Get your own, pronto! I'm already plotting my return for those grilled cheese sandwiches!
