We stopped by the BlueTick Coffee shop in Riggins on 3/3/2024 at about 3:28pm in the afternoon for a coffee Frap & a hot tea. There were 2 workers in the booth and no other cars in line. After waiting 12 ½ minutes for our drinks we decided to drive off because both workers were talking and goofing off. I tried multiple times to get their attention but to no avail. So my review is not how their coffee is or is not, but rather, the lack of service and unprofessionalism of their employees. I have never experienced service like that. I don’t know if I will ever go back. Riggins is a nice town. I guess that is why BlueTick Coffee shop is on the outskirts.

Never had the opportunity to try the coffee, after literally waiting over ten minutes at the drive thru in New Meadows ,we finally decided to move on down the road and find another coffee shop . Extremely slow . Only 2 cars , ours and the car at the window

I was very happy this time ?

Coffee is good, the "baked goods" were not. They were simply pre-packaged baked goods which seemed to have survived a long shipping period and served cold. Skip them.

Every time my brother and I go through Riggins, we stop here. We usually always order an Americano with cream. Both of us agree that it’s the best coffee we’ve ever had!!

I had ordered coffee for two consecutive days. Two different ladies and times. On the first day, I had been on the river. I fell In, wallet, phone etc.. my leather Coach wallet released brown dye on my bills, and anything white. I explained to the gal the money looks funny and wet because I fell in the water. (Someone later that day said it was blood, ODD! ). This is an absolute lie. No problems with the First Lady. The second day, I had gotten up early and drove to find out the coffee shop opened at 6am. I waited in the parking lot in the back, vehicle running and running lights on. I was not parked at the window coffee stand. I noticed a black truck pull in and stop and look in my direction. I did not make any notion I was waiting for coffee shop to open. I was hoping they would open a tad bit early if they knew I was supporting this tiny business. I continued playing on my phone. When the time read 5:54am I drove up to the front right side of shack. I sat in my SUV, window down awaiting someone to open and take my order. A different gal opened up and I said hello. We made some small talk about hunting season opener. I had on my north face Bernie and arbi Garcia UAV shirt. No mask. Not intimidating, just polite and an average Joe wanting my morning coffee. This gal apparently brings in her handgun and advised me she had it. Seems reasonable since it’s our 2nd amendment. But to advise me she had it and brought into the work place seemed odd. Was this some kind of verbal threat? All because she saw a clown mask when she arrived? I have a clown mask on the passenger side head rest. It’s Halloween time and I like to joke and see reactions. It’s funny. ?Clowns are funny in my opinion. And it can only be seen head on. At no time was I asked to leave, depart immediately, refuse to leave or refused service, or told to never come back. I paid with my credit card and my bills were still wet seemed reasonable. I also had a baby seat for my 10 month old baby on the back seat. A baby seat, WOW!! must have been scary to see an empty baby seat?. I was given my coffee, paid and left without any suspicion of her feelings and that I had just been verbally threatened with deadly force. 8 hours later, I was on the river. A Boise County Deputy starts yelling. He asks me to come up where he can see me. He murmurs something about harassment and trespassing. I was dubious and wondered if he had the right person? I wondered if the stuff I was picking up felt trashed?. He then became very hostile, talking rapidly. And asked to see what was in my hands. It was trash and some hooks. I was cleaning up the river a bit. Officer Graham ICSO badge 718 started talking very fast and alleging some crime had been committed? Really?! Even though he could not personally articulate one he saw, had knowledge or proof. He illegally detained me under an illegal lawful order. Tried to Put me in handcuffs, he search me for weapons under duress for an illegal lawful order. I had no idea what was going on? He claimed the money I used had blood. That was some imagination to assume that and a plastic funny clown mask was frightening. And apparently a Halloween clown mask made someone nervous to grab her gun and make me aware. This seem like a verbal assault with a deadly weapon and i should’ve called the police when I left at 6:08 am. I tried refuting and proving the apparent alleged lies against me and the owner(s) and employees of the Riggins Blue Tick Coffee. He just wanted to write a ticket. Officer Graham didn’t want the truth. He gave me a notice and said the owners wanted to trespass me. For what? A clown mask that was never worn at any time. And water logged American Currency. Who are these people? Apparently have no personality. I wouldn’t recommend this location at any of their locations. I say at best, horrible Customer service. And if lucky a civil suite for discrimination. “RIVER OF NO RETURN” what does this imply?
