Stopped here for dinner after a long day on the road. Ordered food at 7:40 pm. Simple food. Soup & a chicken breast on lettuce. An hour later, no food, no communication. The server was pleasant, but was juggling hostess duties, taking orders, bussing tables & cashing customers out. After waiting an hour & receiving nothing more than a glass of water, I left money for the water and gave up. When I walked to the front to tell them to cancel my order as it was now too late to eat, the server said “wait, your orders up”, then came back and said “sorry,it wasn’t mine”. Apparently they hadn’t even started mine yet 🙄. Nice atmosphere, but if you actually want to receive food, I would suggest you go elsewhere. If I had so much as been communicated with that it would be over an hour, I would have had had time to go somewhere else instead of going without dinner. The place was virtually empty, so it was not because they were busy. Very disappointing experience. Spare yourself the aggravation & try another place.

OMG!! Chicken fried steak came highly recommended by a local and it DID NOT disappoint! Service was nice and they got me taken care of quickly. I'm glad I got there before they closed

A solid dinner choice while we stopped for the night across the street at Riverside RV park for one night. The food and service were topnotch. I had a taco salad, and my other half had a Meatball Squeeze sandwich. It had a fun name on the menu very interesting presentation with a choice of sides. He got tots. He was impressed with his choice. The dessert was AMAZING. We split a brownie Supreme that had 3 scoops of ice cream and all sorts of whipped cream. It's definitely one to share. The place was comfortable but nothing fancy. All the food was made with love. Highly recommend.

Nothing feels better than a hot meal coming out of the wilderness and River Rock cafe delivers. Sweet staff, and amazing biscuits and gravy and french toast. You will not find shrinkflation here!
