Our group ate at BJ's Bayou 7.24.25 and had a blast! It's a family owned restaurant and bar with delicious Cajun cuisine. The owners are very hands-on and fun. We fell in love with BJ and Cherilee. The food was AMAZING and the atmosphere was fun and interesting. We definitely recommend this location!! <3
I love the menu in general. You can’t find anything else like it in east Idaho.
We had a large crowd at BJ's after our Armored Combat regional practice. They were gracious and fun hosts, letting us have the run of the place. Service was great, food was awesome, building was historic and fun - even a dragon upstairs for us knights to deal with! Definitely check the place out. We'll certainly be going back!

B J's Bayou is a hidden gem that feels like stepping into New Orleans. The atmosphere, service, and food are amazing. The gumbo and jambalaya are top-notch, recommended by all who enjoy Cajun food. The restaurant is family-owned, with hands-on owners who create a fun experience for guests. The live alligator, Evangeline, in the aquarium adds to the unique atmosphere. The staff is friendly, and the service is excellent. With a history as a hotel, bordello, saloon, and dance hall, this place is quite intriguing, and some say it is even haunted! A must-visit spot with delicious gator bites that leaves customers wanting to return whenever they are in the area again.
