The Stardust

A little insider tip: we were passing through to get back to the west coast. The hotel used to be a bank and is a historic place. Lovingly furnished. Well, not a 5 star hotel, and some amenities are missing. But it was pretty, clean and lovingly individually furnished.

The restaurant was also great. Thank you

Rooms: Furnished in country house style. I liked it very much

Nearby activities: In the middle of the small town, not far from the park and theater

Walkability: Everything is easy to reach

Food and drinks: There was a restaurant at the hotel. Very good food

Noteworthy details: Rupert was one of the first cities in the world to have electricity

This establishment is such a fun local find. The food is great and atmosphere is small town treasure. There is a pub, restaurant and patio seating with musical talent on the weekends during the summer and a small hotel above the restaurant. The rooms are beautifully decorated and offer a special getaway if you are visiting this cute little town. They also have a banquet area and do great with catering for private parties.

Rooms: Beautiful, charming and historic.

Safety: Small town safe feel.

Walkability: Situated in historic town square, lots to do around the business.

Food and drinks: Versatile menu, everything has always been great.

Always Excellent food.
Always Excellent service.
Always Excellent atmosphere.
Wish they had the Italian sub anytime. But it's only on the lunch menu. It's one of the best around.
And the sweet potato fries are FABULIOUS!!! LOVE THE SAUCES!

Food and drinks: Well worth the trip!!!

Restaurant review not room. The covered patio in the summer is refreshing . They often have live music on weekends. The service is to be commended. Appetizers are scrumptious!!

The Drift Inn is one of my favorite places to eat & also have guests stay. Food is delicious & friendly staff that seem to enjoy their job. Also stayed at the Hotel for a friend's Birthday. Rooms have the old world charm & are very clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend there.

Stayed in the Beymer Presidential Suite. Loved every second of my stay. Master suite and bathroom were extremely cozy and well cared for, original woodwork and tile from early 1900s--a fun, historic place to stay. Make sure to get dinner downstairs at Henry's as well!

This review is for the inn rooms, not the restaurant that was closed Sunday evenings.
This is a wonderful, out of the ordinary place to stay. Clean, comfortable and nicely appointed. Bed was a bit too soft to our liking though and pillows had no support.
Otherwise we liked it. Nice change from hotel chains.
Also has a common area and kitchenette with ice, snacks and water. Nice touch!

This was my first time eating here. The quality of the food was great. I live in the area so I can't speak on the room quality or location. My wife and I are looking forward to eating there again.
