The restaurant is called Lonchería “El 20” and is owned and operated by Maria López, not Penny, Maria’s husband.I’ve witnessed this woman get up at 4am every morning to make everything from scratch: tortillas, rice, beans, her daily specials, salsa… everything.The López family has been living in the Norland area since the 1980s, so the local farmers and their families know them well. Good service, but the food isn't that great and it is way out of the way for the normal person. Highly recommend visiting Evie's across the street for a much better experience all arround.
Keep in mind they do not accept check or card so you need to bring cash with you!
Parking: It's either dead or absolutely slammed so be courteous when it's busy!
