I come here at least once a week from Island Park and stop in whenever I am headed to Idaho Falls. The tacos Dorado with carne asada are level 20. Highly recommend you try these and he always has amazing hot sauces. Warning if you get the tacos dorado you will crave them and have to keep coming here hahahah so good.
La Perla Tapatia serves phenomenal Mexican food. I've been a loyal customer for 12 years, and the quality never ceases to impress. What truly sets this place apart is Alfonso and his family. They are hardworking, incredible people who have always treated me with kindness and warmth. I can't recommend this restaurant enough. I only wish I were in town more often to enjoy their amazing food!
Wow, I was not expecting this. Really good, authentic Mexican food with great people running the place. Had barbacoa and carnitas tacos, as good as any I've had in southeast Texas.
