Waited in line for 20 minutes to order, and another 45 minutes to get two cold, burned burgers. Not worth the wait.

The cook was wearing an actual gas mask you guys! The black smoke inside was so thick and toxic- we had a hard time standing at the window to order. There’s no way this place is meeting standards. The girls working were actively trying to fix a very small fan that was their only means of ventilation. The smoke leeched into our shake and food. Even the Diet Coke we got - everything tasted like charred tar ?! How does ice cream come to taste like that?! We waited almost an hour for our food and only waited behind one person in line. We over heard the employees complaining about customers that were complaining about how long things were taking. The outdoor picnic tables were extremely dirty- we ordered 7 burgers, 3 fries, 1 small shake, and a medium Diet Coke. The total was $110 before a generous tip. Go somewhere else and someone find the number of the agency in charge of policing these places!

We were excited to get our shakes on our way out of town, only to have to wait 40mins for 3 shakes. The girl making the shake would not start the next order until someone picked up the previous order called. Which when they are sitting in the picnic area can take awhile. While waiting we observed her standing there smacking her gum. And sniffing the cups - assuming she was trying to determine its flavor.
It was finally our turn for shakes to be made, she made ONE. And walked away on her phone ! So by the time we got all 3, the 1st one was melted. They tasted pretty good - except the huckleberry one had frozen pellet huckleberries that were sour.

The food is very good here. The shakes are okay. I personally typically don’t have a high wait time, but there’s been a few times I’ve had to wait longer (45 minutes one time.) The staff they have aren’t the nicest. They’re not very willing to help a lot of the time, which unfortunately ruined the experience for my friend group and I a little while ago. One of the teenagers was very dismissive of us and she proceeded to go on her phone while we were trying to ask her something. It wasn’t very busy at that moment. Some of the staff are very friendly, though.

Service isn’t we only ordered shakes for the first time( we use to always get the dole whip next door which is no longer there unfortunately) we are not new to bear lake coming here for 10+ years first time having a bad shake… these shakes tasted like frozen old berry’s kind of like freezer burn… and tasted like the oil of the food around it. Our group all tasted it

I ordered a chocolate shake, and it contained peanut butter chunks—despite no one in my group ordering anything with peanut butter. I have a peanut allergy, and this is unacceptable. It’s clear the blenders aren’t cleaned properly. I caught it in time and took Benadryl, but someone with a severe allergy could end up in the hospital. This is a serious safety issue that needs immediate attention.

It's a great little burger joint with walk up service only. When your order is ready they call the name you gave them and hope you hear it.
Seating is first one there gets a seat at a picnic table.

We came here for dinner after a long day at the beach. The food was good and everything was made fresh. However, the customer service was very poor. All customers should be treated equally.

We were with friends who asked for a refill on their Sprite and were willing to pay for it, but the staff gave it to them free of charge. A few minutes later, my daughter asked the same employee for a refill and was told no. As the employee walked away, my daughter overheard her say to another staff member, “I just didn’t want to.”

I hope you can do better in the future and treat all your customers with fairness and respect. It’s completely understandable if refills aren’t free, but there’s no reason to be rude about it.
