Drifters is such a special place to visit . This small, modest, and cozy little watering hole serves as the local hub of the remote and tiny little town of Emida, Idaho. Far from the day to day hustle and bustle, Drifters is surrounded by timberlands and sprawling mountains along the beautiful White Pine Scenic Biway on Idaho State Highway 6. It's a perfect place to stop in and sit down for a bite to eat check, your messages with the free Wi-Fi and maybe enjoy a friendly visit with a complete stranger, the way you might have done 50 years ago at any given Roadside Diner in rural small town America.

Stopped in while out riding my motorcycle and was very glad I did. It's old-school home cooking at its best. Emida is a very small town, but this place had a line of cars out front, which is a good sign. Lots of seating and very friendly staff and owner. It was past lunch but I wanted breakfast, which was not a problem. Awesome meal, loved the sausage patty with just the right amount of seasoning and flavor. I'll stop in again for sure!
