Great food! My favorite are the Puffy Tacos
Great food great people!!
Best freaking tacos around!
We went there for dinner while we were in town on a hunting trip. The minute I walked in and looked around at the staff I knew it was not going to be the type of Mexican restaurant I'm accustomed to. Certainly not authentic Mexican food. I walked in and greeted the man behind the bar in my fluent Spanish and got a response in English. The rest of the staff was Anglo. The man behind the bar looked to be Filipino, but he said he wasn't. But, I still believe he is Filipino. Anyway, the food was very mediocre, but we were hungry so we scarffed it up. This restaurant was the only place open in town at that time - -about 8:30 PM. Most restaurants in town close at 8 PM and this one has a sign on the door saying they stay open until 10 PM. However, once the Filipino man took our order I noticed he turned off the "OPEN" sign. He was quite friendly and once he realized my friend and I were only going to talk to him in Spanish he spoke to us in broken Spanish, too - -however, with a very heavy Filipino accent. This place is a last resort type of place. If everything else is closed and you are REALLY hungry, then, you'll eat about anything. Just like cows eat straw when there is no real hay available. Oh, we discovered that the IGA Market in town has a deli and a Subway. We ate the rest of our meals during the week there..
Best burgers in town!!! And the Burritos are HUGE!
The food was really good. I had the nachos with everything on it and the first thing I noticed was that the meat was not greasy! In most places that serve Mexican food, it seems the taco nest is swimming in grease, it was not so here.
Let’s start with the good. Pretty darn good food...really a nice meal. Super friendly staff. If only the staff could bring you what you ordered....they got everything 1/2 right but that means they served the wrong thing to half of us. Top that off with slooooooow service and younger staff that was frequently sitting down at a table with 2 young girls chatting about friends, etc and the service needs improvement. I bet the owner was not able to be there the night I went....cause the kids were definitely playing. Margaritas for kids who were not carded and appears to be well under the drinking age of 21....
YUM!! Food is WONDERFUL!!
This is our favorite Mexican restaurant in tow - and not only because it is the only one! The food is great, service is great and there is an amazing view looking out over the golf course. Don’t miss it!
What delicious stromboli. Thank you for a great lunch and the friendly smiles, you ladies have two more members to add to your fan club. That stromboli brightened our rainy day. Good food. Good prices. Stop in today but be patient, stromboli takes a few moments to prepare however it is definitely worth the wait.
