We went there for dinner while we were in town on a hunting trip. The minute I walked in and looked around at the staff I knew it was not going to be the type of Mexican restaurant I'm accustomed to. Certainly not authentic Mexican food. I walked in and greeted the man behind the bar in my fluent Spanish and got a response in English. The rest of the staff was Anglo. The man behind the bar looked to be Filipino, but he said he wasn't. But, I still believe he is Filipino....
The food was really good. I had the nachos with everything on it and the first thing I noticed was that the meat was not greasy! In most places that serve Mexican food, it seems the taco nest is swimming in grease, it was not so here.
Let’s start with the good. Pretty darn good food...really a nice meal. Super friendly staff. If only the staff could bring you what you ordered....they got everything 1/2 right but that means they served the wrong thing to half of us. Top that off with slooooooow service and younger staff that was frequently sitting down at a table with 2 young girls chatting about friends, etc and the service needs improvement. I bet the owner was not able to be there the night I went....cause...
