It had been more than 20 years since I had been in the 219 as I moved away but, my wife and I found out that her friend Tish was working there so we stopped in for a drink as we were in Sandpoint for a visit. Wow, what a change from the old two one niner! It used to be an old dive bar but now it's a nice place. Not too nice though, they kept just enough edge to make it a cool place.
Went there for a birthday party with a large group. I looked around and saw that there weren't many people working at the time and got a little worried with how much food we were ordering and more and more people coming in.

Alright now. 219 Bar did not disappoint.Place was packed. Great blue grass band brought the vibe.Drinks were good. Prices were fair.Great saloon style decor with a decent sized bar and good service.Memorable time was had in Sandpoint.
