Baxters is the worst restaurant experience I have ever had bar none. I called in early like 4 to 5 hours early to find out what I needed to do as I work nights in Sandpoint but live way south so I called in told them what I was wanting and what should I do, the guy was short with me but told me to call in at least a half hour early. OK I told him I lived 40 minutes away so I would call before I left (this was for a steak salad) I called 1 hour before I had to be at work the Man was extra rude to me, I never told him I had talked to him earlier it doesn’t matter you shouldn’t treat prospective customers the way he did. He was so rude I said never mind I would NEVER ORDER from this place after that experience

Cute setting in downtown Sandpoint, the food is very Rich and beautifully portioned but small plates and larger prices. We had a couple drinks to visit but with outside seating refills on drinks was pretty slow. However servers were very friendly.

Off peak visit. Sept 29. Quiet. Pleasant staff. Lost the order. Finally received the order after an hour and a half waiting. They offered a bowl of soup to keep us going. We were hungry by 8:30pm!

Meatloaf - boring. Better meatloaf in the frozen section of the supermarket.

Steak good. Huckleberry sauce - nearly tasteless.

Mash potatoes - Nice and hot!

They didn't comp a thing. Just charged us for everything (except the soup).

Went there after a long day of hiking the mountains and everything was great however we ordered a meatloaf sandwich to go for our friend who was too tired and it basically was bread with a slice of meatloaf...pretty dry kind of like Subways' yoga mat sandwich...sad because we hoped for better but oh well...probably the last time

Had an excellent meal here. Small place, very comfortable. Outdoor dining available. Ate too much and couldn't try the key lime pie. Will definitely go back for that.

We took a walk around town to find a good restaurant.I'm baxters did not disappoint us. My husband had the sliders, which were unbelievable, and I had the lobster row, which was huge and wonderful.

The tacos were so good, I don't even know what to say. They get paid, and they are worth it.

The food was absolutely delicious. Fantastic service as well. We ordered the lobster chowder and fried goat cheese balls to start and I cannot wait to go back just for those. Thanks for a fantastic experience all around!
