New menu was dropped today and oh my gosh it was absolutely amazing !!! Not many photos of dinner because it looked so beautifully delicious, my party of 5 devoured everything before the thought of taking photos came into mind. The desserts pictured are the GF carrot cake and a black berry crème brûlée. The meal is the Delicata salad with sockeye! Outstanding! We left barely able to move from fullness. Our server was Cliff, he was humorous and took great care of us. Thank you Dish for putting effort and love into every plate!

A wonderful place on the banks of the Pend O'reille river. There are tables both on the deck and inside the building. Barside seating is available inside also. Dish is situated next to the Marina and surrounded by the small town of Dover. Collated with Dish are numerous bike paths that connect to the town of Sandpoint, Idaho. We had excellent dinners on a perfect September evening.

Absolutely the best place on the lake to eat! Food was AMAZING. IT WAS MY 60TH BDAY AND THEY MADE IT WONDERFUL! and you can pull right up on your boat, have dinner and back on your boat!! So Cool!!! 😎

My husband and I had the halibut last weekend and it was perfection! Everything about it was perfect. The cook, the seasoning, and the rice and veggies. Chefs kiss!

I thought I had given a review but apparently not. My husband and I came for our anniversary early April. We arrived just before the dinner hour, lucky for us, as there was no one else there except the staff. We were greeted as if we were expected VIPs lol and seated promptly right at the window to the bay, gorgeous! Our waiter was very friendly and informative with the recommendations. Our food arrived, plated simply but beautiful. I had the Salmon, my husband the fish and chips. Food was very good, very flavorful and cooked well. Our drinks were good, I tried a smoked old fashioned which was entertaining and good! The restaurant had filled up by dessert but the staff worked their tables as if each table was the only one in the room giving complete attention to their guest. I liked that. Dessert was delicious, I have dairy issues so I ordered the carrot cake without icing just to taste a tid bit lol my husband got it next morning, he really enjoyed it plus the huckleberry cobbler he ordered. Overall, I recommend The Dish it was well worth it.

I normally don’t leave reviews, but because this was my wife’s 40th birthday, I feel obligated to share our experience. Unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment.
While our appetizers were great, the rest of the evening fell apart quickly. Our meals came out sporadically — three entrées arrived for a party of eight, and the rest trickled out with long gaps. We never received our salads until we brought it up, and some of the items we asked to be split never were. They also messed up one of our kids’ meals.
Our waitress was very sweet, but she seemed overwhelmed and scattered, and it really affected the flow of the evening. In the end, they only comped a small portion of the bill, which didn’t feel like a fair reflection of how far off the experience was.
We’ve been to Dish before and had a great time, so this was especially disappointing. Hopefully it was just an off night, but for such a special occasion, it really missed the mark.
