I normally don’t leave reviews, but because this was my wife’s 40th birthday, I feel obligated to share our experience. Unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment.
While our appetizers were great, the rest of the evening fell apart quickly. Our meals came out sporadically — three entrées arrived for a party of eight, and the rest trickled out with long gaps. We never received our salads until we brought it up, and some of the items we asked to be split never were. They also messed up one of our kids’ meals.
Our waitress was very sweet, but she seemed overwhelmed and scattered, and it really affected the flow of the evening. In the end, they only comped a small portion of the bill, which didn’t feel like a fair reflection of how far off the experience was.
We’ve been to Dish before and had a great time, so this was especially disappointing. Hopefully it was just an off night, but for such a special occasion, it really missed the mark.

The dish, hands down one of our absolute favorite restaurants here in sandpoint. We love the staff, Gary the owner, is also very amazing. The food is top-notch, the service is top notch, the atmosphere is breathtaking. I absolutely recommend the dish 100%. We love them

My husband and I eat at dish at least twice per month and we LOVE the food, the service, the drinks and the view. Dish is our Go To restaurant to take family, friends and clients when they are in town.

Awesome little place with a great balcony view of the bay. Meals are more about quality over quantity although that doesn't mean you will leave hungry.

This restaurant is easily the best food around Sandpoint! Busy is always a good sign and we were able to beat the wait at the bar. Gabby was such a pleasant bartender. Her drinks and service was honestly the best I’ve ever had. So funny and on it all night. Definitely coming back and 1000% recommending this outstanding restaurant to all my friends and family
