This afternoon, at Sandpoint Farmers Market, I lined up to place an order for fish and chips at the food truck. I was waiting 20 minutes before my order was taken and had to wait another 15 minutes to get my food. Much too long for a fast food truck! The 3 pieces of fish were tasty but half the size of most pieces of fish I've eaten at a variety of restaurants in the area. The cook was placing the fish on the plates and take-out containers with his fingers -- no gloves or tongs! Yikes! Unfortunately this will not be my food truck of choice in the future. All the other food trucks were serving their selections much faster.
Best fish in Sandpoint by far.
The only and best place for proper seafood and fish in town. Love this place and Rob the owner is amazing.
Fresh fish comes in 2x week
The best fish in town!
Excellent seafood and smoked fish!
I get fish there every week. The fish is the freshest!! And you can call ahead and have them save you some if you aren't going to get there until later in the afternoon.
If you want fresh fish of almost any kind this is the best place to go. Since they are only open two days a week I prefer to order the kind of fish I want on Wednesday and pickup on Friday. Friendly staff.
The best smoked salmon I've ever tasted! Delicious! Flying Fish is on my weekly list to pick up fresh wild flavorful fish of all types.
So I've been looking for Ono/Wahoo all summer and couldn't find it. When I was asking the guy at the meat counter about getting some, a person behind me said to call Rob from flying fish co. Called him up. In about a week he was able to get it in fresh!! So amazing!! Rob also portioned it out and vacuum sealed it for me. We cooked-up some tonight and my wife said it was probably the best fish she's ever had! It was as fresh as we ever had it in Hawaii. We made a fresh heirloom tomato garlic reduction to go with it. Crazy good stuff!! The wet rub we did was olive oil, sesame oil, minced garlic, chives, capers, salt and pepper. Cooked to temp on a cedar board a buddy made here locally. If you have a special request like I had, give Rob a call.

Love a local place with amazing fresh fish!
I am not a big fish eater. stopped and asked about the Alaskan Halibut. She said it was flown in last night, never frozen. I asked how to cook it? She even called her husband to ask about timing. It was incredibly good!
Amazing fresh fish.
Expensive, rude.
Great fresh fish, always new selection, superb smoked salmon! Super friendly.
