The food was very good and the portions were huge. Service was fast and friendly. My only complaint is that the inside seating is very loud. They need to hang some fabric or something on the walls to absorb the sound. There were very few customers in there at the time but my ears are still ringing. Next time we will hopefully sit outside.

Best Mexican in Sandpoint! Breakfast and lunch only, extremely casual. The swai fish tacos and chicken adobada are outstanding. Often a daily special. Call your order in advance if you plan to come during the lunch hour, especially in summer. During summer, outdoor seating only.

easily the best place to eat in north idaho. extremely affordable food that’s delicious, healthy, and very filling. highly recommend the bean and rice burrito off the vegetarian menu. don’t bother going anywhere else for lunch if these guys are open!

If you're in Sandpoint, this is a must try. Joel's has been around for a long time, I have enjoyed this place for years! It's practically in the center of town.
I oftentimes will venture up after a hike with my dogs, get my food to-go and head to the city beach right down the street and enjoy the view while eating.
The food is great and the price is very good for the amount of food you get. The people are friendly and the atmosphere is family oriented.
My favorite thing to order is the two chicken taco combo with rice and beans. It's messy and delicious so grab some napkins, forks and spoons!! Enjoy❤️
