Waited 30 minutes for my coffee. Legitimately 30 minutes. The line came and went. The girl said she forgot. Another girl finally made my coffee, told me it typically took that long to make it. Then had the NERVE to call me out in front of strangers for not saying thank you. Unfortunately I tipped first while paying their stupid credit card machine. Never doing that again or returning here. All I wanted was a cup of coffee.
We love that the ice cream is very fresh and the waffle cones are homemade. They have a good variety of flavors. Your employees are very friendly and knowledgeable.
This was some of the worst ice cream I have ever eaten. It was icy and flavorless and the cone was soggy. I have never had anything like this. Sooo bad
Plenty of flavor options, great prices, even on their clothing they have for sale. I really enjoyed this place.
So good!!! 🔥🔥💯
Good flavor options. Good coffee. Service was ok, considering it looked like training was being accomplished. They have non dairy options too.
Some of the best ice cream in the country.
Amazing ice cream and homemade waffle cones. Will definitely go again when we are in town!
Excellent!! I rarely eat ice cream anymore due to how artificial many taste and poor textures. Panhandle has an awesome selection of flavors with each component having well-developed flavor. Great waffle cones, too.
I’m a total sucker for locally made ice cream and huckleberries. So imagine my delight when I got into Panhandle and they had Buttermilk Huckleberry. Sign me up! Split the scoop with Peanut Butter Cup. Nice sized chunks of peanut butter cups and peanut butter ice cream. YUM! I didn’t try the non dairy but they had about 4 flavors. Also GF sugar cones. They make it easy to enjoy their ice cream. Wish I could stay longer just so I could have more…

Panhandle Cone & Coffee isn’t just ice cream it’s a full-blown flavor adventure. These folks don’t stop at vanilla and chocolate; they’re out here mixing things you never thought belonged together… and somehow making them taste like pure magic.
One scoop feels like a fun date, two scoops feels like a committed relationship, and by the third scoop you’re wondering if it’s legal to marry an ice cream cone in Idaho.
From sweet and savory mashups to flavors that make you question your entire childhood, every combo here is a masterpiece. Whoever is behind these creations deserves a Nobel Prize in Happiness.
Bottom line: skip dinner, go straight here, and let your taste buds sign up for the rollercoaster. Panhandle Cone & Coffee is proof that life is too short for boring ice cream.
Traveling through Sandpoint on a weekend get away and found this little place for ice cream. So lovely and delicious. The girl working this evening was very knowledgeable and ever so sweet, she was very kind and patient as I asked questions and sampled a few of the flavors. I highly recommend this little shop and look forward to trying their coffee as well.
Good coffee and unique ice cream flavors. Always a short line that moves quickly but worth the wait!
Had the salted Carmel cookie and it was amazing! Can’t wait to try the s’mores next!
Yummy ice cream and food service!
