Love this place and it's our favorite place to grab lunch! đ
This was my first visit to Pie Hut, but it wonât be my last. There are a staggering number of pies available, and soup. What better comfort food combo is that?! My pie was delicious. The owner was very friendlyâŠcoming to our table twice to chat and see if we wanted refills on our ice water. My husband had TWO pieces of pie and said that the strawberry rhubarb is just like his grandma used to make.
If I could put more than 5 stars I would! The Bahn Mi is absolutely amazing the soul was also absolutely amazing and the pies were awesome! The customer service here is also amazing. Absolutely no complaints very attentive and the food was out quickly and hot! 10/10 would definitely recommend if you want a top notch lunch!
Love this place. Sweet as pie!
Fantastic as always!
After not eating here for about 5years, My lovely partner got me lunch, & Iâm so thankful he did. Every bite brought back a sense of comfort and satisfaction I didnât realize I missed so much.
I ordered the Vietnamese BĂ MĂŹ sandwich, and wow, it was exceptional. The ginger and garlic beef was flavorful and tender, the pickled carrots, onions, and cucumbers gave it the perfect refreshing crunch. The bread was soft but still perfectly toasted, giving each bite that ideal balance of texture. The sriracha mayo and cilantro pesto added just the right depth and brightness, while the fresh cilantro tied it all together. It was beautifully made, filling, balanced, and absolutely delicious. Truly a sandwich worth coming back for.
I also ordered the crĂšme brĂ»lĂ©e pie, which Iâve loved, and Iâm happy to say itâs still delicious as I remember. The caramelized sugar topping was beautiful, with that golden crackle that gave way to a silky custard underneath. It was crunchy yet melted in my mouth with every bite. The only note Iâd offer is that the crust had a slightly burnt, off taste, almost like it caught a bit too much flame, but that didnât take away from the joy of eating it. The pie was still a treat, and I appreciated every bite.
Altogether, the sandwich, the clam chowder, and the pie made this return feel special. I hope others get the chance to enjoy it too. Totally worth it!
Great food! Delicious pies đ„§ đ
This is for sure a local favorite. Very busy but we found it to be worth the wait. My mom had a club sandwich she had them remove the middle bread she enjoyed it. I had the French dip and it was good the bread was very soft and fresh. We had clam chowder and we all enjoyed it very much. The 3 of us had combo meals that included a slice of pie, cherry, banana cream, lemon cream. I have to say the lemon was way to tart for my taste I couldn't eat it, but the banana and cherry was amazing. We will return for another meal sometime. FYI, CHECK AND CASH ONLY!!! total bill for us was $45 with tip. Reasonably priced. I was wanting to try their pot pie but they were out. I am thinking get there at 11-12 so they don't run out.
Dietary restrictions: They asked if we had any.

Went for lunch today and it was simply amazing! My sandwich and pasta salad was tasty, and my pie was delicious. I got to try a spoonful of the soup special today and that was amazing too. For two lunch combos and dessert the bill was a great price and we will definitely be back anytime we are in town.

Popped in to try to get a bite after visiting the museum, but their kitchen closes at 330 and they close at 4. Got a piece of pie to go, and they only take cash, so be aware before you decide to eat here. The lady at the counter wasn't super friendly either; although she was professional, I felt like I was inconveniencing her by being there. The pie was really good though.

Great little place to stop and get food. Hidden little gem in Sandpoint.
Took a bit of time to get our food, the chicken pot pie was great! Sandwiches are half and full.
And donât get me on the huckleberry pie, it was the best pie ever made! Even the old top 1 (Kalispell) couldnât beat this!
I world suggest this highly for visitors getting a bite.
The customer service is awesome! They always checked up on us.
The atmosphere is good for us, home like style.
Overall, we would always go back here!
Parking: Across Church Street there is a parking lot - Donât park there. It is private parking. On the west side there is a gravel lot, which can sometimes fill up.
For street parking. It is up to four hours but very limited to find.
South (Antique) lot - it is gravel and includes spots to park at.
Wheelchair accessibility: The wheelchair accessibility includes spaced out seats to an asphalt ramp up to the sidewalk entry. The ramp is on the right side of the building, where the Pie Hut is in the antique building area.

A bit snooty and overpriced. Only take cash. Deserts are super sweet. Limited seating and often crowded.
