Yummy chili paste noodles and squash curry. Always so good! Very nice young man minding the store. Really the best Thai food I’ve had.

Take out only, food was very solid, we had a large party and we tried the chili wide noodles, pork yakisoba, pad Thai, wonton soup, and kabocha curry. Both Thai and non-Thai dishes tasted authentic and delicious.

Secret Thai Cafe is the place! The name is certainly fitting it's hard to find small, very small cafe in downtown Sandpoint. If you're craving some healthy food after some outdoor activities it's the best! We came here after skiing Schweitzer in their last half hour open and they were cooking for us until the last minute they were open! Amazing and fresh and flavorful! Id recommend and go back!

Appropriately named. This place is takeout only. We waited about 15-20 min for our food. I was surprised to find this level of spiciness in these parts and I loved it. Both pad kra pow and pad kee mao dishes were not quite what I had elsewhere but were tasty and spicy in its own right. General Tso chicken was a bit dry. Noodles in all the noodle dishes were great! Good amount of meat in dishes and the overall portion size was normal. I’d come back!

Pretty good spot for it being one of the only Thai restaurants in Sandpoint. Pretty good selection of food. I ordered the red curry. Pretty tasty, could use a bit more Thai curry flavor and more protein. It comes with a small box of rice, could have been packed tighter. One more thing is they had more bamboo than protein. Keep in mind this is only togo.

Only a take out option here. Hard to find corner spot on the back of the building. Took order of food and ate in beer bar in same building. Pad tai & red curry were fabulous! Curry was very spicy! I would have requested less spicy but was not asked .

We tried the fried tofu, fried spring rolls, and peanut curry. Fried tofu w/ dipping sauce as well as the peanut curry were excellent. The Fried spring rolls were ok. Was great to grab this and head home to eat it since it is takeout only.

I was also super excited to see an authentic Thai place in Sandpoint, Idaho. It's a tiny hole in the wall Place - take out only, not much room for many employees. there was one high school kid upfront, taking orders and what seemed like only one person in the back kitchen cooking. We ordered pad Thai with chicken, pad Thai with beef and two Thai iced teas. It was good. I found it to be a little bit spendy ($40) and I was a little surprised at how long it took for the food to be ready (45 minutes) But I don't think they have a lot of competition when it comes to other Thai restaurants in the area. At least not yet.

The beef wasn't that fresh . It was hard. The sauce of the noodles was good only. Server didn't smile much.

Great food, and that extra fun aspect of finding the secret Thai cafe ? they currently don't have any indoor seating, or any seating for that matter, but they may change that in the future. Excellent option for takeout.Parking: You can park in the street and walk down the alley, or just pull around back and there is plenty of places to park back there. Just watch out for the gargantuan pothole back there! I heard a Prius fell in once and it has never been seen since.

Have been going there since they opened. Prices have gone up but I guess that's everywhere (but wages). Generous amount of food and the tofu is cooked to perfection. You can request HOT but be prepared.Vegetarian options: Tofu is cooked perfectly and you can substitute any meat for tofu.

This is NOT a dine in place but it's definitely worth it for some yummy authentic Thai food. It felt like walking into my Thai uncle's kitchen when I was a little girl.
