I’ll be direct: this place serves some of the best burgers in Sandpoint. The flavors are on point and the food genuinely delivers.

But here’s the problem. They’re still using seed oils for cooking and frying. At these prices, I expect better. We’re not talking McDonald’s pricing, so why McDonald’s-grade oil?

The District, Hydra, The Forge, and others in Sandpoint have already ditched seed oils. Switch your fryer to tallow. Your burgers are too good to be let down by subpar oil.

Walked in at 5PM, family of 4, there were 3 six top tables open, they said it would be a 15 min wait….turned into a 30 min wait because they wouldn’t sit us at the six top. I asked how much longer after 30 min and she said 15 min, I said you have multiple tables open and she said she wouldn’t sit us as a table for 6…..we left. Super disappointing because I really like this place, but when you wait 30+ minutes with two kids, they should be able to sit you at a table for 6….the restaurant wasn’t even full.

Highly recommend the restaurant. We picked this restaurant because it was the only one open late in town. We ordered burssels, salmon and shrimp. Brussles was a bit overcooked but still delicious. The salmon was perfectly cooked and shrimp had amazing seasoning. The service was great as well. Will return back next time.

I love the atmosphere, the service is always good. This place has a lot of potential. I've eaten here multiple times, and unfortunately, each time the food, specifically the entrees, has gotten worse. Last night I ordered their baked shrimp and the dish was just so bad I couldn't eat it. The unseasoned shrimp arrived in a pool of a sour and bitter watery mess. I have no idea if that was supposed to be a broth or a sauce, but the concept of the dish was just all off. The risotto was deep-fried and still cold in the center. The waitress was very gracious and took back the dish and we were not charged for it. My husband ordered the ramen, and while it has good toppings, the broth had zero flavor. The only highlight of the food was our appetizer, the fried chicken with a Korean flair. That has always been consistently good here.
