This restaurant is consistently over the top! Definitely the best steak and prime rib in north Idaho. The staff is exceptional. With the patio open it adds to the experience. Amazing eats!!!

We drove an hour and a half to have dinner here and it was worth every mile! The seed-oil free options along with the large portions are incredible. We had the Thai chicken wing appetizer, the prime rib sandwich, the prime rib seafood dinner special, and the chocolate gelato. Everything was on point and was extremely fast. We were also able to eat French fries again given they fry their food in beef tallow! Fabulous experience, thank you so much to Brennan our waiter, he was so kind and attentive. 5/5 stars.

We came in last night 10 26 24. Not greeted by anyone , hostess on the phone, back turned. The menu on the wall was inconvenient for customers and servers. Seated at the smallest table in the hallway. Servers had a tiny space to walk and serve between 3 tables. Asked for another table and they were obviously put out by our request and said the bar was available and not professional at all!! They lost out on a couple hundred dollars. If the owners see this please retrain your staff on proper restaurant etiquette

The atmosphere is a bit dated but clean. Our server was friendly and very engaging. I had a huckleberry lemon drop that was very good, and for my supper, I had the shrimp, and I chose fries, and it came with fresh green beans. Everything was delicious.
Another meal that didn't disappoint. Fabulous food!!! The grilled salmon was tender, buttery & melted in my mouth. It's our go to place when family & friends visit. Always a hit no matter the dish. The staff complimented the food with great service. Thank you Eric!!!

Food was very good (prime rib was quite tasty), service was very attentive. Wine list was a bit short but we found a bottle worth drinking. Music was loud and really off the mark (hard rock?) for a quiet dinner over a bottle of wine.

Clean, friendly and an overall great environment! Paul, our server, was attentive, personable and knowledgeable about the menu. Our steaks had a nice balance of flavors and the vegetables were fresh. For dessert we had the mud pie, which beat expectations! We will certainly be making Hydra’s a new spot when we are in the Sandpoint area.
