We enjoyed a very wonderful evening dinner on the outdoor patio of this fine restaurant. I had the Halibut stuffed with crab and Brie which was amazing. My wife had the rack of lamb or as our waitress called it lamb lollipops. It also was amazing. Atmosphere was the best and our waitress Nevaeh what's very special. Sad to see that the restaurant will be closing in about a week because they're tearing the building down but we will hopefully see you guys at 113 Main next time.

This place was amazing, the service was top notch! The food was extraordinary... I had the club and a piece of chocolate cake. They were both excellent. And the atmosphere was stellar... 5 out of 5 stars. I'll be visiting again as soon as I'm back in the area.

Well, after hunting around for somewhere to eat, we found the Trinity Restaurant. We looked at their menu online and decided to give it a try. Boy, am I glad we did. The food was fantastic, the service was excellent and the location was very relaxing. I had the Breaded Trout, and my wife had the 12oz NY Strip Steak. Both meals were excellent and flavorful. The steak was done to perfection, ordered medium rare, and my trout was cooked perfectly. For dessert, we shared a sticky toffee pudding, which was a good as if not better than the ones I grew up with in England. The staff were very friendly and efficient. Overall, it was a fantastic meal. The price is a bit up there but well worth it, in my opinion. I'd give 6 stars if I could. I highly recommend this place. We ate early at around 4 pm, and by the time we left, it was very busy, and this was a Sunday.

Party of 6 for lunch. The 18 dollar pulled pork enchiladas lunch entree we tried were really small and disappointing. Their menu specifically lists them as a lunch entree but calls them an appetizer on their dinner menu; same price for either. When I saw them I was shocked and almost laughed out loud. I realize I could have involved the manager/owner but I just decided to not ruin our experience eating out by having to wait for some resolution while everyone else finished their meal. The service was fine, though our waitress was a little over-the-top with all the fake enthusiasm about everything anyone at our table said. It just came off phony and annoying. On the upside, the burgers and chicken strips were good and the bacon on the burgers was amazing. The atmosphere of the restaurant overall is great. We've loved this place for years and left today feeling like the value just wasn't there.

Arrived one hour before closing. The food was very good. It took longer than customary for our food to arrive so the waitress offered a free dessert (one of which we accepted) and more bread (which we didn’t need.) Beautiful view, great service, great food!

The fish tacos were delicious. But best of all we had an incredibly friendly and happy waitress.

Dietary restrictions: My gluten free friend wished there were more gluten free options.

Stayed at the best Western, needed an evening snack. Nachos sounded great and a couple steps down the hall. I was told 15 mins , 30 minutes later, it was ready. That’s really not a big deal at 7:30 on a Friday night. However, I counted six black beans and three or four chunks of pork, seemed like it had been sitting under a heating lamp for quite some time. Salsa was good. For a high end restaurant this is not what we expected. Disappointed.

This place is a great place for special occasions. Call early to get reservations if you want to eat out side. It's gorgeous out on the patio overlooking the lake. We ate in the lounge due to how busy they were. The drinks were great, we shared a toffee pudding dessert that was to die for! The server was so much fun. We will go back everytime we have our little vacations in Sand Point.

Parking: A very large lot but it's shared with a hotel. The resturant is very popular so you usually have to drive around the lot once or twice but it's worth it!

Both of our meals came out luke warm. The food would have been ok if hot but especially fries need to be hot! The reuben seemed to be thrown together and not made with care. All the sauce was a blob in one spot and the meat was not evenly distributed. Way too much bread for a little bit of meat. The waitress had so much perfume on it gave us both a headache. The atmosphere on the deck is wonderful right at the lake. Wish it would have been a better experience.

Food quality / price (value) rating 9. The atmosphere is upscale, but casual, lakeside dining, and every table has a view of the lake. I had the Chicken Florentine Alfredo, which had a wonderful cream Alfredo sauce that was topped with a generous amount of fresh grated parmesan cheese. The penne pasta was cooked al dente, as it should be. The wife had the Pasta Primavera, which had a very flavorful and spicy sauce, and the penne was also prepared wonderfully. Service was very good. They offer live entertainment five nights a week, and have a Happy Hour daily. The evening we were there they had a violinist and guitarist/vocalist. There is a large outdoor seating area overlooking the beach, and a large lounge/bar area. The restaurant is part of the Best Western Hotel building, but the entrance is not identified well. The building is part of the "City Beach Park" area downtown. We ate at six different restaurants in Sandpoint / Ponderay while visiting, and Trinity was the best!Reservations should be made well in advance to get seated around six o'clock, as the place fills up quickly at prime dinner hours.

What a gem! Fish and chips were fresh and crispy batter. The vegetarian burger was incredible. Fries were hot and cooked to perfection, the house made sauces delicious and unique flavors. Our server Tyler was attentive, without hovering, friendly, and helpful with menu recommendations. Highly recommend!
