Great prices, great good. Great staff. Consistent every time you go and the food is very fresh and delicious. The meat from the butcher there is also fresh and is great quality and there's a good variety of produce too. Highly recommend if you're needing groceries or wanting authentic Mexican food.

This is a good place to go for Mexican groceries shopping, they have a good stuff, and they have meals also, but I am a very high tasting and this place don't accomplish what I expect. I got a carne asada tacos and was not ok the taste.

If you're looking for an authentic slice of Mexico without boarding a plane, El Chuy Market is a must-visit. Nestled in the heart of the neighborhood, this bustling market not only offers a colorful array of fresh produce and traditional goods but is also famed for its delectable food, especially the El Pastor tacos.

From the moment you enter, El Chuy wraps you in the vibrant essence of a Mexican mercado. Shelves brim with everything from handmade tortillas and spicy salsas to unique artisanal crafts. The fresh produce section is a feast for the senses with its exotic fruits and vegetables, all ripe and ready for the taking.

But the true star of El Chuy is the food court, renowned for its El Pastor tacos. These tacos are nothing short of heavenly. Marinated in a rich blend of spices and cooked to perfection on a vertical rotisserie, the pork is crisped just right, with juicy, flavorful layers that melt in your mouth. Served on soft, handmade corn tortillas with a sprinkle of cilantro, onion, and a dash of lime, each taco is a testament to traditional cooking methods and fresh ingredients.

Don't let your visit stop at tacos; El Chuy also offers a variety of other authentic dishes like tamales, quesadillas, and ceviche, all worth sampling. The prices are incredibly fair, offering a chance to enjoy a feast without the guilt of overspending.

El Chuy Market not only delivers fantastic food but also a vibrant atmosphere and genuine Mexican hospitality, making it more than just a shopping destination—it's a cultural experience. Whether you’re there to stock up on groceries or to savor the flavors of Mexico, El Chuy Market promises a visit that’s both flavorful and memorable.

The people are friendly but they charge you more than what it is, for example, if the meat was 2.6 pounds they charge you the full 3 pounds. And the sausage had pieces of weenies.

The restaurant/store has very authentic Hispanic feel. The food is very good but a little more on the high end. I got the carne asada which was very delicious (I was also very hungry) but it did have a fair bit of fat on it which made it difficult to chew. The employees are extremely wonderful and love to help you find whatever you need. Will definitely go back.

They have the best authentic Mexican food. Also love getting my produce and dried chili from them. Great customer service and everyone is always friendly.

El Chuy Market has an almost surprisingly great selection of comestibles, with lots of fresh produce, an in-store butcher, and lots of your favorite sauces, canned goods, dry goods, and drinks. Their staff is very friendly and patient with mediocre Spanish. I haven't tried it but they have an in-store restaurant, it's on my list to try soon. Best of all, they are open on Sunday, so you might find something you need when the other guys are closed. That's how I discovered them, but I'll be back!
