First time to eat at the Manhattan Cafe in Shoshone. We tried homemade chicken noodle soup, turkey sandwich on wheat bread, and a cherry 🍒 malt. All of the food was amazing and it tasted so wonderful. Nice day with a great meal. 🥘

Great little place!! Looked up the best fries in Idaho and this little place was one of the contenders. I got a roast beef Swiss with tots and the hubby got a burger with fries. Both were really good, I’m not sure if they were the best fries, but they were more battered than a typical fry. The tots were amazing, love a good tot. If you’re in the area, definitely stop by. The waitress was so sweet, the menu is good and the area is full of history.

Stopped in for lunch and had their western burger lunch special. It was absolutely amazing. The atmosphere of this café took me back to the times of when I would go out with my grandfather. The only thing better than the food and nostalgia is the amazing customer service and friendly conversation. Can’t wait to come back with my family.

It's your small town, Cafe. Soup of the day cheesy potato and ham. Soup potatos was hashbrown style. My husband had bacon tomato melt with sweet potato fries. With pictures of the old train engines.

Have been coming here for the better part of 38 years. Have seen this restaurants highs and lows. My most recent experience was enough to keep me from coming back. Ordered a chef salad and wife got a dinner salad wither her meal. Both came out brown and slimy. Lettuce was clearly past its prime. I sent mine back as it was my entire meal. My "new" salad came out with more brown salad, out of the same bag no doubt. Also on this plate of salad was a bunch of bloody meat juice. Waitress was nice enough about the whole experience. I just can't come back after this.
