I ordered the burrito relleno two separate times and both times it's been burnt and smelled like dish water. I took the burrito back in and the cook refused to give me a refund because it didn't look like the picture of a un ate burrito. It was completely burnt and I was unable to even bite through it,he saw this and refused give me my money back. If some of their food smells like dishwasher I wonder what else they're cooking that smells like dish water total garbage and you should worry about their cleanliness.

The waitresses were amazing and super kind. We ended up having to wait an hour to get our food, though! The food was tasty, but overpriced - and they don't actually give you a receipt with things itemized to be able to double check that things were charged correctly, so I feel like we got overcharged for some things.
There aren't a ton of food options though, so if you have a ton of time to kill and money to blow, I'd recommend this place.

Best authentic Mexican food you'll find in idaho/

Edit: 7-17/2025. I’m adding this edit to remove one star! This place is still the absolute best authentic Mexican restaurant in Idaho without a doubt but only when the Owner is OG is working! It is very evident he cares about his business. The food is always hot and fresh and flavorful not super white washed like others when He is working! But unfortunately when he isn’t present the quality of food suffers pretty badly. I hope this can be resolved because they really are the best. I would compare their food to anywhere I’ve been In SoCal, southern Arizona around Nogales, anywhere it is top notch but again only when OG is working it seems.

I did not expect to find a quality tex-mex place in this town, so I was very pleasantly surprised. Anything on their menu is good, and their refried beans are excellent.

I was hooked on the California burrito then all the sudden prices doubled which was fine until I got a burrito 🌯 full of fried beans 🫘 so I haven't been back 😐

We go here every time we're in Idaho. Very good food and a lot of it. Their salsa is excellent which is a good indicator of how their food will be.

Have eaten here many times traveling through, always good food, authentic .

Always fresh, always delicious, always superb. Even when I get unseasoned patties as a treat for my pups they go the extra step and cut them up. Love the people and the place
