Porter’s Pub - The Meeting Eating Drinking Place

Porters is my absolute favorite bar/restraunt. From the amazing bartenders like Missy to the atmosphere it is a great dinner and beer stop.

We were passing through town and decided to stop for lunch at Porter's Pub. Missy took care of us from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. She was very helpful with the menu and pointed out some really good gluten free options. The food was awesome and the service even better! 5 Stars!

Good food and plenty to drink. We decided to try Porter's out and drove from Montpelier. The food was good and staff was friendly and attentive.

They have a pool table and dart board but only one of each, food is good, the workers give good service.

Wheelchair accessibility: Yes it is wheelchair accessible, there enough parking in the back and some in the front.

I have been through Soda Springs several times but this was my first time to have lunch here. We arrived right at opening time so seating was not an issue. Great service & enjoyed our Cobb salads. Should my travels again take me through Soda Springs, my first stop for food will be Porters Pub.

I was hoping for small town charm. I’m from a small town that has good restaurant options. This wasn’t that. Drinks had nearly zero alcohol. Service was (it seemed) intentionally inattentive. Onion rings and shrimp were way over fried and extremely greasy beef dip was too salty. I hope the criticism will help improve the quality.

Worst service ever. We walked in and was told to sit wherever we would like. We did and our waters and our menus come minutes later. We noticed that our waiter had 2 other tables but 1 was finished and the other almost finished. After 20 minutes of being totally ignored we left. Can't rate the food because we weren't given the opportunity to eat. Was not busy whatsoever. Maybe we were dressed to nice ?.

Great food and Great service! I was in town on a work trip and it was nice to be treated like a local. Our server was great! I ordered the chicken fried steak and it was fantastic! Incredibly tender and delicious. 10/10 recommend.

Porter's was recommended by quite a few locals and just fell flat when I went in for dinner. Atmosphere is nothing to write home about and the service was very average (nice and friendly, but inattentive). I ordered a chicken quesadilla since it's an easy dish to make... except what you see in the picture is what I received.

Cheese not melted, bland chicken and what appears to be a plain un buttered tortilla thrown onto a griddle for a minimum amount of time.

Super awkward when I sent it back. Can't recommend and will likely not go back.
