I can’t even give a review on the food because we didn’t stay. We thought we came to a family restaurant, not hooters. We walked in and there’s a teenager (which made it more weird) wearing a grey, almost see through shirt with no bra on. It was very obvious and made me uncomfortable. I would expect staff at a restaurant to at least have their private parts clothed and not looked like they just rolled out of bed. We just left and went to a place 10 mins away called mountain village. Very clean, professional and delicious.
It was the end of the season and they had a full menu! The service was outstanding and the owners engaged in conversation at the table. Always a great place to dine!
I enjoyed an appetizer of Cornbread and Trout for the main course. Both were absolutely delicious! Our waitress was also very pleasant and attentive.
Fresh ingredients served as inspirational dishes both local (and not) were spectacular! Especially loved Brussels sprout appetizer and scallop appetizer!!! Steak and trout were each perfect!
Ordered the Burgers....they arrived without about half the items listed on the menu and no cheese...fries were good. Had wings for appetizer...quite good. Had much better meals there before.
So disappointed in Limbert's. It took 45 min for an appetizer and an hour for the meal, which was meh. The prime rib was overcooked and tough. There were so many staff buzzing around and it created a feeling of frenetic chaos. Never again.
We had a young waitress who did not know anything about the wine, cocktails or food. She was a good, eager server but needs to acquire knowledge. I asked another server for some recommendations on cocktails & menu. She knew her business well & helped us make choices we were pleased with. Food & drinks were all good.
Reservations were easy to make and we were seated right away. I come once a year, request the same table, and get it every year. Attention to detail is a hallmark. Everything on the menu is 5 stars so do not fear ordering anything. Stan Kaufman
For being in the middle of nowhere it felt dreamy to have such a luxurious meal. They had an Earl Grey vanilla cake that was heavenly. Waitstaff were a bit overwhelmed by the rush (forgot our drinks) but definitely attentive and accommodating when they could get to us. We can over from the Glacier View camp during a torrential rain storm and it was a great and cozy spot. I'd recommend:)
The setting for this restaurant is exceptionally beautiful. The ambience in the dining room is comfortable, rustic western in the best way, and lovely. It is hard to find a place this special. The cocktails, food, the many great dishes on the menu, all are exceptional. We had a great meal there and a great time being in the area. Hard to beat the views of the lake and the Sawtooth mountains without going to Hawaii.

Over the past decade we have eaten here numerous times for breakfast and dinners. We've always enjoyed our dining experience. However, last night was disappointing to say the least. Our reservation for a birthday party of eight was for 6:00 and we were seated promptly. Experienced the normal pleasantries ordering drinks and our meal. Finally, dinner was delivered at 7:15. And the quality of the steak and prime rib meals were definitely below what we had experienced in prior years. The waitress was wonderful, no complaints in that area. But the wait staff was obviously overwhelmed and disorganized. And the noise level...so loud we couldn't converse without yelling. We just gave up trying to carry on conversation. Again, our waitress and her helper were very nice and apologetic. But that doesn't make up for a bad meal and noisy atmosphere for what should have been a happy birthday celebration. Hoping this was simply a bad night and we'll give it another try soon. But last night, not good!

The service was outstanding and we were very pleased with the food quality and flavor. We would definitely recommend Limbert's for breakfast and dinner.
We ate breakfast (breakfast is until noon) here after a weeklong backpacking trip. I can’t eat gluten or eggs and found it odd they don’t have a single thing labeled as gluten free friendly. They don’t even offer GF bread as an up charge, which almost every restaurant offers now. They also don’t offer avocado as an add on (boo).
Even the breakfast bowl had farro (wheat) as the grain. Why not use something like quinoa or potatoes? The waiter was very friendly and did a good job helping me build a breakfast bowl by subbing things, but honestly, it shouldn’t be that hard at a nice restaurant.
Aside from the all gluten menu, the service was good, and everyone’s food was well prepared. Prices were reasonable for a tourist location.
Tip: order the foodservice pullman loaves of GF Bread Srsly, slice them up, and freeze them. Then you can offer your customers with restrictions an artisan GF sourdough toast or breakfast sandwich.
