My fiancee and I did not stay at the hotel however we ate dinner at the restaurant for 5 nights in a row ! I am celiac and they have several dishes that are gluten free and they go out of their way to ensure I was safe. The food was out of this world and the employees were what took it over the top. Sara , you are the best and amazing!!! Thank you for always looking out for us and taking care of us while we were in town !! Sara made this trip even better! If you have just one opportunity to eat here... You better!!!!
We stopped in for pie and ice cream. It was fabulous! Everything was homemade. The interior was very quaint and homey. The staff, very friendly. Beautiful views of the Sawtooths from the back patio!!
Great food and excellent service. Downhome atmosphere and no glitz. Stanley is a super place to visit; do so before it resembles Jackson Hole.
So aesthetic and cute. We walked right in at 5 p.m. and got a table for two. We shared the Pork Belly Wraps, each had a glass of red wine, and I ordered the Korean BBQ Prime Brisket while my dad got the Pork Schnitzel with mushroom gravy. For dessert, we split the brownie with homemade espresso and peanut butter ice cream. It was the perfect way to wrap up a birthday trip after backpacking for three days. The food was incredible. It’s amazing to find such high-class dishes all the way up in Stanley, but it’s there! Our waitress, Sarah, was fantastic. She had also helped us at the Stanley Baking Co and was great there too. All the employees in Stanley are awesome :)
Stayed at a neighbor inn but had dinner here. Warm lights, friendly staff, excellent food. Great vibes. Nice bar.
Went there for dinner for a volunteer dinner, was treated like royalty. Will for sure visit again.
This review is for the restaurant at the hotel. It was the best dinner I had during my entire stay in Stanley. The portions were very generous. The taste and mix of flavors was honestly amazing. We had the pork belly wraps to start with the beet salad. I had the Korean BBQ dish for my entree. All of it was delicious. The staff was friendly and the vibe was great. They had live music outside which was a nice touch but the singer wasn’t our favorite. I ordered an espresso after dinner and my only complaint was the cup. They served it in a giant coffee cup. Espresso really should be served in an espresso cup. First time I’ve seen that actually. I can’t wait to go back!
Booked a last minute stay here for a horseback riding trip up to Alice Lake. We weren't sure what to expect, but this place was absolutely phenomenal. The food downstairs is all made from scratch and everything we had was so delicious! The rooms are rustic and charming with comfortable beds and the staff were all incredible - cheerful, helpful, and warm - no matter how busy the restaurant got. Would stay here again in a heartbeat and would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in Stanley!
My wife and I stayed here for two nights, and my childhood dream of staying at a cowboy hotel finally came true! We’ve visited all kinds of great places across the country, but I had such a great time at this hotel. The rooms are small, but you can really feel the history when you stay here. Everyone was so friendly, and the restaurant was even better. If you’re looking for an authentic experience, this is the place! Across the street from the oldest bar in Stanley and SO close to everything you want to see.
Great food & service! Outstanding Italian food & Korean BBQ Beef was amazing! Got a nice bottle of Malbec which paired well with our dinner.

I was so happy with my stay
I booked a room that had the shared bathrooms. As a woman in her 40s, I was hesitant to book a room that I would have to share the bathroom
They have 2 bathrooms and 2 showers. I never saw anyone
Showers had 2 in 1 shampoo/conditioner. And had liquid soap
And you can flip a switch to get heat in the shower!!!!!
My room came with 2 washcloths and 2 towels
The back patio....... You can't beat.
As I'm currently sitting on it, drinking a beer and reading a book. Cannot beat the views. So relaxing.
No TV's in the room, but really....who cares when you have the view outside your door
Comfortable beds. And the breeze is amazing. Never got too hot/cold.
I would absolutely stay here again. I didn't eat at the restaurant, but I heard great things about it
The restaurant is closed on Tuesdays, but there's other options a block away. The front desk ladies were so nice too
Great hotel. The pictures don’t do the room justice. It was very clean!! The sound from the restaurant downstairs was minimal and died down at a reasonable time. We will stay again if we’re in the area! It was walkable to everywhere in the downtown area. The pic is a view from the room window
Kelli was so accommodating when we rolled into town looking for a place to stay. We didn’t realize how lucky we were to stumble upon this gem. The property is well-kept and well-appointed. It is clear that the staff take a lot of pride in the hotel, bar, and being welcoming to guests. The restaurant was superb and we had a cozy stay in a room out behind the main hotel building. Kelli made our first time in Stanley so special and we appreciate the hospitality. We will absolutely be back.
Staff went above and beyond. Owner Kelly runs a great place and highly recommend staying there. Dinner was awesome and amazing service by our waitress, Ashley. Will be coming back.
THEY ARE OPEN!! I just had dinner here tonight…service and food were both excellent! Sit outside for unbeatable views!
