We love this place for burgers & fries or fish & chips! Homemade tartar sauce for the fish & chips. Some of the best fish & chips I’ve eaten. Comes with 3 deep fried cod fillets and your choice of fries or tator tots. Lots of yummy burgers to choose from. Those also come with fries or tots. There is a “special of the day” so ask about that. Soda fountain for refills. Homemade fry sauce is delicious!!! There is a counter area you can sit at or dining tables and chairs that seat 4 people also. Shakes are pretty good but overpriced in my opinion. This place is a small “hole in the wall” kind of place. One of a kind “ma and pa” kind of restaurant. Worth the stop! Yummy food options! Malt vinegar on each table as well.

I hate to do this because it was my first time going and the place and location is so cute!! But I got BAD food poisoning from either the chicken or the tots. So sad. I don’t plan on going back and wouldn’t recommend it after that, unfortunately.

We were looking for a bite to eat on our way home from Packsaddle Lake, and Ole’s Diner was the closest spot. We’re so glad we stopped!
The young woman taking our order was friendly, helpful, and informative. We decided on the Single Bypass Burger and the Hickory Burger—both came with fresh-cut fries and a drink.
Our food came out quickly, and the portions were generous. The burgers were huge and packed with flavor, and the fries were perfectly done. Everything was delicious, and we’ll definitely be back!

We went there for some fries and shakes and everything tasted great! Strawberry shake was delicious and we loved the hand cut fries! They came out very fast and fresh. Service was awesome! We came close to close and both the server and the chef assured us we could take our time and enjoy our food. The place itself was also very clean. A very welcoming little place in town!

The food is great, but its like the guy in the bacl seems like he can only cook one thing at a time. We ordered close to the same time, where I got my food and ate it all and then waited half an hour tilly buddy got his food. Its not like it was packed, just no rush to get anything done. I regret leaving a tip for having to wait this long.
