The waitstaff were wonderful! The food was good, but not good enough to justify the high price, in our opinion. The chairs were a bit uncomfortable, and the atmosphere again was not in keeping with the price of their menu items. Our entire meal, with about a 17% tip, came to approx. $215, which seemed excessive for the experience. Overall, it was fun to go there and have a new experience, but we probably won't go again just because of the price.

This was our second time celebrating our anniversary at Anderson Reserve. The tasty steak dinner, attentive service, upscale country setting, and warm hospitality were uniquely wonderful. It's clear the Anderson family sets a high bar for a high-quality dining experience that makes every patron feel special. The highlight of our evening was a delightful conversation with Dennis and Phamie Anderson as we were leaving. Thank you to the Anderson family for making our anniversary celebration extra special.

Beautiful , quiet, panoramic outdoor seating. Fabulous food. Great service, family run with a personal touch. Look forward to going back. Why go to Boise for good food with the noise and traffic. When you can enjoy pristine outdoors with as good or better food. Thumbs up to Tiffany our server.!

Great food. Kind people. Beautiful setting. We'll go back again, especially when the weather is warmer and we can enjoy the patio.

Seeing the beautiful hills, running water, silos, and elegant landscaping through the windows while eating, was breathtaking!! The steaks and salmon were cooked to perfection and our service was top notch! We had the opportunity to hear live music while dining and loved the ambiance that was created. We will definitely visit again!

We went for lunch around 2:30. The restaurant was not crowded and we were seated upon arrival. The waitresses were very friendly and knowledgeable about the restaurant and menu. They offered some good advise about some menu items. She was extremely helpful with alerting the chef about my shellfish allergies, which lead to different choices for me. The restaurant was very clean and welcoming. This was our 2nd time there and we will definitely return again.

Order got lost, waited an hour between apps and main course, and then our steaks came out over cooked and cold. Thank god they “made it right” with a $50 off lunch coupon… 🤦🏼‍♂️. Didn’t waist our time again. Drove an hour and a half to get there and spent $300 for 2 to be completely underwhelmed.

Service & ambiance were great! The food was not good….super disappointed. The prime rib was luke warm & grisly. The potatoes& carrots were great, but at $68 you should have better quality prime rib! The steak salad was only ok. The “tenderloin” on the salad was cold & had zero flavor. The drinks were good & the wine list large but expensive. Suggest bringing your own & paying the $25 corkage fee. We really wanted to like this place…..may give it another try for brunch, but highly disappointed in dinner.

This was my first time at Anderson Reserve. It was very nice and the food was amazing. We ordered the dry aged T-bone and the Bone in Rib eye. We ordered the fried cheese as an appetizer and a side of asparagus and bread, finished off with a slice of Chocolate decadence cake. There are pluses and minus. The app and sides were a solid 3 star, fun ideas with decent presentation but taste of the cheese was redundant and boring after one, and the asparagus was bitter and small. The star of the show was the Steak and the sides that came with the steaks. Cooked perfectly, cuts were prime and nicely seasoned with large portions. Atmosphere was great. The back ground music was more entertaining then talented but the views and ambiance was perfect for us. Thanks for the good times. About 200 all in with no alcohol.

Always a great time with Paul and his family. There is nothing but good to say about this place. Everyone is friendly, the good is incredible, the drinks are perfect, the cigar bar is simply awesome and the setting is second to none!

If you have not been out for lunch or dinner, you definitely need to put it on your list of places to go!

While the views and service were excellent, the food was not worth the hefty price. Drinks were good though. Perhaps it's because we went on a Wednesday. First, they didn't have many items available on the menu but that was fine as I figured anything we got would be good. We first got the crab cakes (just ok) and brussel sprouts (good). I got the lobster tail with alfredo sauce with ravioli - the lobster was really tough and I know its Idaho, but I have had better lobster in the valley. The ravioli not that exciting. My BF got the USDA Prime New York Strip Oscar and he said it was just ok and too salty and I thought it was less than ok. Pretty disappointing for a place that boasts good steak. Lastly, we got the Lemon Bash Cake for dessert which was dry and flavor was that of store bought. For a whopping $348 (includes food, 5 drinks, and 20% tip) I likely won't be back unless it's just for drinks, sitting on the back patio.

Great atmosphere. Fair service. But for a fancy special place need to find some more experienced cooks to fit the setting. My wife and i both ordered medium well and they came out rare. The waitress offered to bring us another steak. But we didnt want to wait any longer then what we already had to wait. I expected maybe some kind of discount but no. So we just paid and left. Very disappointing. After having high expectations. $310 bill for two of us and we left very unsatisfied.
We won't be back.

Great place to visit with beautiful location and scenic drive that is a bit out there.....BUT WORTH IT. Great staff Great food.... and if you want to enjoy a cigar totally separate to the restaurant, walk to the silo Bar and cigar lounge, which is part of Anderson reserve. Two thumbs up....really enjoyed it for my Dad's 80th Birthday.... oh and if your celebrating a birthday make sure you tell them...you will have an experience.
