I recently decided to give Golden Horse a second chance. They just can't (or wont) make their food spicy.If you order it "extra spicy", you might be lucky enough to get a second pinch of crushed red pepper flakes.It's hard to find good Chinese food here in Idaho and despite past awards, you're unlikely to find it here.

Had the salt baked shrimp it was really flavorful and spicy......the staff was polite and helpful. One of the towns longest in business restaurants.Kid-friendliness: They don't mind the little ones at all here.Parking: Plenty of evening shade parking just outside the door, in the lot.

Rice was good but not for $17 dollars. Two large fried rice which are not even very big for $17 dollars is insane. Tasted decent.

Me and my husband have lived in weiser 3 years now never had a bad experience at the golden horse....we are always seated right away Sherry is always our watriss always happy to have us .....she is a awesome waitress
My family and I love dining in or ordering take out from here, its one of our favorite places to eat in town, but recently when we call were stuck talking to a very rude waitress. Her name is Sherry if i remember correctly. Every time we call or dine in she has this sour look on her face, and always has an attitude! She has never once been kind in person or over the phone. She answers the phone with " what can i get you" never a " hello - or welcome-". Makes us feel as if were an inconvenience every we call or go in. Aside from that the place is always a pleasure to eat at! We love the food and the staff.

Melanie is a horrible waitress. I visited this past Saturday. First she said you all were out of hot tea, then she said you were out of Mongolian beef, and that I had to order what she suggested, or to go somewhere else. I usually love frequenting this establishment, but as long as Miss Melanie is there I will not be returning.

The food is alright not the best tasting but not the worst either. The service sucks because the older lady does not have good customer service. She seems impatient and gives off the attitude that you annoy her and are an inconvenience. It's no wonder why they keep hiring, I would not want to work with the lady. I have seen first hand her say something rude to a new hire.
Had to ask the waitress for more tea.
